New Me, New Diary! Maintenance Begins

Phoned CD to see if anything has been done about my new sponsor, but the person dealing with it is off sick. I was told someone else would look into the situation, but so far have heard nothing.
Oh:(:confused::mad::sigh::eek::cry:etc

I did however open a letter which came while I was away and I have an interview on Friday for a counter assistant in the post office:) I sent an application form off a couple of months ago and had heard nothing, so presumed my application was unsuccessful.
Mrs goggins eat your heart out.
Tattoes will be fine as you well know!
I wander what they'll think of my tattoos, hope it dosent put them off!

Now I am awaiting another load of wire to be precariously arranged along the fence again:mad: Perhaps I should suggest I buy pampers pull ups, maybe that will make the twonk happier!!!! Urggghhhh :mad::mad:
Now that is a shame & an unpleasant home coming.
you've taken a lot of trouble to try & minimise the cat effect for him.
I reall hope it doesn't get out of hand again. He's obviously a v petty & potentially aggressive little man with more time on his handes than is good for him.
Is he retired?
I just hope it hasn't undone all the holiday Karma. ( well that & the Corby inertia)
Taking the kids out tomorrow to a little british wildlife centre near us, taking a picnic and meeting some other friends, so should forget all about twonk next door, becoming a CDC, gaining weight and other niggly stresses!

excellent idea.
don't let the weight get to yuo, It'll be off v soon.
& if you'd had the green light from northantsI'd have said use the tantrum as an excuse to get the high capacity ones you'd planned on getting. Maybe next week?
You forgot - its first thing in the morning in the nude after a wee ;).

After a wee a wash & teethclean. You never know, that flossing might just dislodge a vital mg of stuff......
I am on 790 for the next couple of days (I feel like I have eaten all day the portion sizes are sooooo big) and planning to follow 1000 plan over the weekend (as closely as possible ) while away for my brother in laws wedding and then have a few days at 790 and then aam before going back to SS. I had to take the dress I bought 3 weeks ago back and order the next size online as I had managed to shrink out of it :p - with the help of some of primarks finest "firm support" pants the fit is just right :D.
Well done Ruthlet. expensive but satisfying!
I hope your neighbour behaves himself - besides how does he know it was one of your cats that peed on his furniture .
Aha! good question!
It might not even have been a cat.
you could try telling him you've seen a few bold urban foxes in the gardens !
Have a great time tomorrow - I will keep my fingers crossed for you that the sun shines :).
Or teenagers?

Here are a couple of our holiday pics:)

Children at Wookey Hole:)
Nightly goings on:p

I thought it was funny that a thumbnail didn't appear! Do you think it's because Scotts bum is on show??? I'll ask Pierce or Mini.

Thanks for letting me know Jane, will try and rectify it.

Have you tried uploading them to somewhere like photobucket?

Works better than doing an attachment IMO.

Attachments should work, but maybe the file type is wrong?

I'm a bit green where modern technology is concerned:eek:

I thought I'd done it the same as other times, will try again, or try photobucket, although I haven't got a clue what that is, will check on google:)

Thanks

Well from the pics it looks like you all had a great time.

Quick Q for you Tracey as I know you are knowledgeable about these things - how long should a french manicure/polish take to "set" - I had this one done tonight with the top coat put on about 7.50 and the white tips while dry to the touch are still really soft and will mark and wrinkle up when pressure is applied - is this right???

Just a little peeved as I have paid for the priviledge of my nails looking lovely but it won't mean much if the new paint job gets ruined while I am asleep or when I try to put my hands in my jean pockets!!!

Sorry - that was not a quick question really  - any advice would be much appreciated :).

Hi Ruth:)

It depends on how thick the white tips were applied. Normally it takes a good hour for them to set properly.

If they were done at 7.50, they should be ok now. Are they still wrinkling?

I've paid good money to have mine done, and I always seem to knock one of them:( It's so frustrating.

Some of the edges of the tips are quite thick and it is in these spots that if I touch them they wrinkle :(.

Hopefully they will harden up overnight and not get snagged and ruined on the duvet - if they do snag my nails are in pretty good nick so I can always clean off this paint job and put a coat of clear on for the wedding instead - its just the thought of having paid for and evening of having nice nails to look at (but not be able to touch anything) is a little annoying . At least the salon have done a nice job on my fake tan :).

Thanks for replying so quickly.

I am not sure if I will make it onto minimins before I go tomorrow - so I will wish you a happy weekend now. I'll look forward to catching up on your thread next week :p. Take care xx

They should be fine, and will definately be hardened by the morning. Ooooh fake tan:) Was it a St Tropez, I had that done for my 40th Bday party (I hadn't lost any weight then and felt a bit self conscious having it done:eek:) but I loved it! I'm a pale freckly person, who in the sun goes bright red, peels and then is bright white again:( I wish I could afford to have weekly tanning sessions.

Thanks for replying so quickly.

You're welcome:)

Take care

Not much going on in traceyland today.

Visited the park with the kids and met some friends, had a picnic all packed and the heavens opened:( I keep falling into the trap of believing the bloody weathermen...so much for August being wonderfully sunny..blah...blah. Anyway everyone came back to my house, coffees all round, towels for hair, kids running all over the house. Just as suddenly as the rain came it stopped, so main bulk of children played in the garden, lots of screaming and hollering coming from the trampolene, so I'm sure cat maiming neighbour loved that:p

Haven't heard anymore from him, but cats are not using the litter trays:eek: So where are they going I ask myself! Oh well, I've done my best:sigh:

I nearly got myself into a sticky situation today. Last year Kim was attacked by a friends ex boyfriend, he knew his ex was staying at our house and we were away for the night. He broke in and attacked Kim, bit her on the face, threw her to the ground and kicked her, he also attacked his ex. Police were called by a neighbour who heard the screaming and neighbour also came in and managed to get the lad out, luckily he didn't do any major harm to the girls physically.

Cut a long story short, it went to court and basically he got away with it:mad: I went to the hearing and watched his mother stand in court saying this was out of character etc. He used to beat his ex when they were together, he also beats his mother, so lots of B******s was said, and how I sat there without getting done for contempt of court I'll never know.

A few months after this he was finally imprisoned for an attack on the mother:rolleyes: He served 3 months.

I haven't seen him or her since the court case. Today was my first sighting of the mother. I was at the market and someone I know was sitting at a table by the coffee and bacon buttie van, asking people to sign a petition against the closure of the market. He called me over to sign, as I was doing this, I heard a woman talking about her son and how he'd been in prison and what a 'git' he was. I realised who she was and my heart started to pound, I walked over to her and told her that 'git wasn't a strong enough adjective to describe her spawn (I then told her a better one:eek:) and that I was glad he'd hurt her again, and also that even though he hadn't been punished for his attack on Kim, she wasn't to think that all was forgotten and that he would get his Karma. By this time, my petition signing friend was taking me by the arm and leading me off, my children stood aghast at my outburst and the woman, just sat there not saying a word.

I got myself together and told my friend I was fine and promptly left the market. As soon as I was home, I burst into tears, all the anger I'd felt originally had come flooding back to me. I think what got me most was the fact that this woman was relating details of her son, (who in my opinion and most of the people of Whitstable including the local police) in an almost proud sort of way:mad:

Feeling calmer now though.

This afternoon had a play on the pc with the kids, simsonizing them, which they thought was great. I like my simsonized pic too so have added it as a signature pic.

Friday 3rd August

Had my interview for the part time post office job. All seemed to go ok, lady interviewer was very pleasant. I'm not worried whether I get the job or not actually, and this helped with the interview as I felt really relaxed. I think if I were desperate for the job I'd definately have been more nervous!

They will let me know end of next week as to the outcome:)

Run out of CD again:sigh: Will phone HO again on Monday to find out what's going on. If nothing sorted, I'll ask if I can go to another councellor to get my CD, there is a chap in Whitstable.

Diet ok today, been really good! I'm going to invest in some books about why we overeat etc. Even though I've dieted, I know my old habits are still lurking and are waiting for me to have a weak moment. I always thought maintaining would be hard, and as usual I was right;)

I am going to get some more scales. I miss not being able to jump on them to make sure all is ok:eek: I know most people think this is a silly thing to do, but it really seems to keep me motivated to stay on the straight and narrow.

Hiya Tracey

Fingers crossed for your job, definately helps that you weren't nervous, they'll think you're super confident and capable now :p

I think at maintenance it is important to keep jumping on the scales, the one thing I tell my clients not to do LOL, but you need to keep an eye on your weight to make sure it's not creeping up, that's what I try to do and when it gets to 10 stone that's the time for me to really pull it back again - that's the theory anyhow! :p

Hope CD gets sorted out for you soon, that's been going on for ages, what a pain!

Have a great weekend

Lol Hopefully I've got them fooled!

I agree, I've been really down about having no scales and no tetras to keep me on the straight and narrow! I weighed myself most days whilst losing weight too.

Hope CD gets sorted out for you soon, that's been going on for ages, what a pain!

I hope so too. Will harrass again on Monday;)

Have a great weekend

You too!!!!:):)

Had a great day at the beach today, kids had a swim, I paddled as I don't like the fish or jellyfish:eek:

Kim went off this morning for her holiday with bf and family. They've gone to Burnham on Sea and are staying on a caravan park. She was so excited (funny how she never wants to holiday in England with us or her Dad, happy to go abroad with us though, but holidaying in England is normally considered boring:rolleyes:) I will miss her, in fact I miss her already:(

Bought new scales this morning, so am feeling happier, now all I need is more tetras and I'll feel a little more in control. I have also been on amazon and ordered 'Beyond Chocolate' and 'Breaking free from emotional eating' The weight has gone, but I know I could easily pile it on again. That is something that isn't going to happen, I want to push up those appalling low statistics of people who actually manage to maintain their goal weight.

Have been giving in to binge temptations, not nightly as I did pre diet, but enough to make me panic a little. I am still at goal weight, but I won't be if I give in. I want to feel that food is no longer an issue, and that I can eat when I'm hungry. I think I've slipped into a trap again. I put on a little weight whilst on holiday, then I've been panicking to get it off. Instead of doing things steadily, I think I've starved myself a bit and then of course come the evening I want to binge! I so hope these books can give me an insight as to why I do these things. Perhaps if I understand, then I can do something about it.

Enough moaning! I am being positive, got my new scales, ordered my books, just need to sort out my source of CD, hopefully it'll be via me, as soon as my sponsor has been allocated. I can't wait to become a counsellor, I have 3 clients waiting in the wings, who are all eager to get going, so praying my wait will be over soon.

Another day at the beach planned for tomorrow, apparently it's going to be scorchio again:D:D

Monday 6th August

Phoned a newly opened clinic regarding radio frequency treatment. This is a treatment that can be performed in your lunch hour, that dosent hurt, dosent include surgery and is supposed to be effective in body shaping etc. Sounds wonderful eh:confused: Actually sounds too good to be true, but that's the cynic in me.

However they were lovely on the phone and the consultations are free:) I'm going to discuss this tonight with Scott, as although consultation is free, the treatment costs £230 a session, they reccomend 5 - 6 sessions (which are monthly) I have put lout another thread asking if anyone knows about this or has had it done etc.

I just can't get rid of my pouch of fat above my waist, no amount of sit ups and wrapping myself in cling film:p seem to work:sigh: I wander if this is the way to go, apparently the radio waves melt the fat away:confused:

Phoned CD HO today, lady dealing with me is still sick (poor thing) so spoke to a gentleman that I'd never spoken to before, he's assured me I should hear back from them by tomorrow:)

Had a lovely day at the beach yesterday, then looked after a friends kids in the late afternoon. I now look like a lobster even though smothering myself in sun cream!

Scott made the long awaited guinea pig run, they love it, we've put in some drainage pipes, and they spent hours running in and out of them:) The only worry is my precious 4 cats, who have constantly sat on guard around the run, having a little dab at the wire every now and again:sigh: One of the guinea pigs is extremely inquisitive and keeps going nose to nose through the wire to her watchful new friends:eek:

Hiya Tracey

Got my books from Amazon today, same two you ordered so be interested to hear what you think of them, will let you know how I get on.

Never heard of Radio Frequency Treatment, be interested to know more about it, seems expensive, but if it works I suppose. Must look at your other thread, see if anyone else has had it done.

Have a good day, enjoy the sunshine, bit damp here today, but sun still shining.
:)
