Not much going on in traceyland today.
Visited the park with the kids and met some friends, had a picnic all packed and the heavens opened

I keep falling into the trap of believing the bloody weathermen...so much for August being wonderfully sunny..blah...blah. Anyway everyone came back to my house, coffees all round, towels for hair, kids running all over the house. Just as suddenly as the rain came it stopped, so main bulk of children played in the garden, lots of screaming and hollering coming from the trampolene, so I'm sure cat maiming neighbour loved that
Haven't heard anymore from him, but cats are not using the litter trays

So where are they going I ask myself! Oh well, I've done my best:sigh:
I nearly got myself into a sticky situation today. Last year Kim was attacked by a friends ex boyfriend, he knew his ex was staying at our house and we were away for the night. He broke in and attacked Kim, bit her on the face, threw her to the ground and kicked her, he also attacked his ex. Police were called by a neighbour who heard the screaming and neighbour also came in and managed to get the lad out, luckily he didn't do any major harm to the girls physically.
Cut a long story short, it went to court and basically he got away with it

I went to the hearing and watched his mother stand in court saying this was out of character etc. He used to beat his ex when they were together, he also beats his mother, so lots of B******s was said, and how I sat there without getting done for contempt of court I'll never know.
A few months after this he was finally imprisoned for an attack on the mother

He served 3 months.
I haven't seen him or her since the court case. Today was my first sighting of the mother. I was at the market and someone I know was sitting at a table by the coffee and bacon buttie van, asking people to sign a petition against the closure of the market. He called me over to sign, as I was doing this, I heard a woman talking about her son and how he'd been in prison and what a 'git' he was. I realised who she was and my heart started to pound, I walked over to her and told her that 'git wasn't a strong enough adjective to describe her spawn (I then told her a better one

) and that I was glad he'd hurt her again, and also that even though he hadn't been punished for his attack on Kim, she wasn't to think that all was forgotten and that he would get his Karma. By this time, my petition signing friend was taking me by the arm and leading me off, my children stood aghast at my outburst and the woman, just sat there not saying a word.
I got myself together and told my friend I was fine and promptly left the market. As soon as I was home, I burst into tears, all the anger I'd felt originally had come flooding back to me. I think what got me most was the fact that this woman was relating details of her son, (who in my opinion and most of the people of Whitstable including the local police) in an almost proud sort of way
Feeling calmer now though.
This afternoon had a play on the pc with the kids, simsonizing them, which they thought was great. I like my simsonized pic too so have added it as a signature pic.
