new start, we have let things slip

omg Diva - 200lbs and a sts - how frustrating!! Next week you must break that 200lbs barrier - you can do it. Yes I have been eating everything in general. Scales said 11st 12 on Monday which is not funny any more so yesterday I managed to restart and had a good day. Hope I can keep it up till next Monday as I cannot allow myself to get back to 12stone after all this effort. On a positive note - my tummy is now officially bug free!! The consultant was relieved more than I was as the nasty treatment finally worked. I knew it had worked as my appetite just shot up. Gotta get it under control - all in moderation and my aim for Monday is to lose 3lbs as have to!! Have to tell myself I have no option. We have to have losses next week. FB now that you are a healthy weight, have you left us!! Come back and give us your words of wisdom! :)
 
Hi all. Been having internet issues so not been on. FB/ Diva - hope youre both well. Well I am back down to 11st 7lbs but this is just the start (she says!!). I have set myself a mini challenge to get down to a normal bmi by the end of this month!! Can I do it is the question so lets see. Diva did you manage to jumple over the 200lb hurdle this week? Hi FSO !!! Yep, I'm here and kicking butt !! LOL !!! I'm jogging now, most of it's explained in my sig :)

Keeping busy, and trying to keep the diet nice and healthy, the more exercise I do, the more I do not want to " waste " it by eating badly ( too many snacks, or high cal !!)

Down to 196 lbs :D Bye, bye 200s..... I am NEVER coming backkkkk !!!!

Good luck with your mini challenge, sounds good. I am forever giving myself mini targets, it helps break it down into achievable chunks !!!

Are you indulging in Easter treats ?? I'm not even tempted here, yay !!!!

Dum, dum, dum..... and another two pounds bites the dust !! Lol !!! No temptations at the weekend, which helped I think !! Manic week this week, so am being super good until the weekend....which is easier if you are busy, I find. Then going to have an easier Saturday before a strict Sunday ( maybe a juice and salad type day ) going to keep my metabolism on it's toes....don't won't it dozing off back to sleep, now it's finally beginning to work !! :p

Two more WIs before my hols ..... can I get to 190 lbs ???

omg!!! excellent!!! well done diva for getting under 200lbs and on the jogging. I am most impressed!! Just look at your bmi and how far you have progressed - its inspirational. Just keep at it. I dont know if I will make my mini challenge but I still have the rest of April to go!!! Who knows!? Yes i indulged in the easter treats and I have family visiting from monday to wednesday so will be indulging no doubt!! so trouble ahead. Then have a friends birthday the following saturday on the 21st but I have no excuse from the 22nd April till the end of the month to try and shift more pounds. I really will push myself then!! Hope youre keeping well. Not sure I like this new layout on minimins - think im just confused. All the best for next weeks weigh in. Ive been stucj at the same weight!! xoxo
 
Hi Diva/ FB. How are you both keeping. Diva - have you managed to stay under the 200lbs mark and how is the jogging coming along? Well the family came and visited and lots of indulgence occured. I am 11st 9 but I am follwing a partial detox this week as really need to be lower by the weekend as need to feel comfortable in a few outfits. Ideally I would like to be anything under 11st 7 by this saturday. Lets see if I can stay motivated and distracted and away from food. Hope to hear from you soon xoxo
 
Hi FSO, yes I'm staying under it !!! Well hoping too, we go on hols this week, so there will be lots of eating, drinking, etc!!!
At the mo, I have lost 5 st, as of this morning !!! So it's all good !! The jogging walking is so much easier to fit into my day, though I have been soo busy this last week I only squeeked five workouts in, and one and a half of those were converted from a very busy day walking around the City ( Philadelphia ) !!!
I will be doing a strict week when I get back, like a detox and will ramp the exercise up, as I am bound to regain some weight while away !!

Hello !! I see it's been really quiet on this thread, where is everbody ?? I was visiting the UK, so wet and cold !!!! Back now, and struggling to get up and runnng again !!! I regained 4 lbs, and have lost a pound of that, so far ! Just lacking in able to do like two or three good days in a row.... It's more like one good, two iffy, one bad, two iffy, one good, etc !!! Grrr!!!!
I felt the regain straight away, my jeans are tight !!! You'd think feeling bad in my clothes would be enough to spur me on, and knuckle down....but I'm struggling !!! Weather here is gorgeous, late 70s, for the next six days, so I'm going to try to stick to salads and smoothies. Out tomorrow evening for a big meal and wine, so aiming for a STS , I guess, this week !!

Hope you guys are having better luck than me, at the mo !!

I went away to Europe on a diving hol and have put on half a stone. I am almost back to 12 stone but will weigh in and re-start on Monday. Enjoy your meal out and wine and then lets weigh in and try and motivate each other from after the weekend. Did you enjoy the UK? Where abouts did you visit? Hope you enjoyed. I hope we can lose our regain and then take it from there :) - we need positive vibes !!!!!!
 
Hi FSO, I was mainly in London and the surrounding areas, so the south of England, I guess. Weather was bad....wet, and wet and wet !!! Lol !! What has happened to the weather in the UK, I don't remember it being that bad, but I guess I am spoilt now, with such lovely seasons, and a real Summer that lasts, like, five months !!! Hehe !!!
I ate so badly... ALL of the time...and drank wines and beers, etc !! Did I mention the BOXES of Thorntons Chocolates I ate too ??? Eeeeekkkkk !!!
I think that is why I am struggling still now, I need to refocus and not allow the eating monster I once was, to control me again. I felt so proud of all my work when I was away, we visited friends and family who had not seen me for awhile, so I was much lighter than they remember, and I loved the compliments, of course !! I guess, we need these big slip ups, to then underline the reasons WHY we are trying to follow a healthy diet and exercise lifestyle......

boxes of throntons yummy - remember the compliments and hold on to how they made you feel. Tomorrow is another day and a Monday so I suggest we work hard to focus again. Remember all the miles walked - well time to take control again and focus on food intake. I made it back in to the gym this morning and aiming for 3 times a week again. Keep posting xoxo
 
I am here, and full of good intentions.....must be Monday morning, hehe, eh ??? Scared stiff that if I don't get strict, I am going to drift my way up to over 200 lbs AGAIN !!! NOOOOO !!!!!!

Lost a pound, so not all bad !!! Walking everyday this week, until Sat !! Lol !! The social weekends are going to kill me, if I'm not 100% good during the week !!!!

Doesn't help that Mr D is swamped with work, doing long, long days, not feeling motivated to exercise, and is beginning to graze again in the evenings !!! Not helping my Willpower, grrrrrr !!!!

Will pop back in later on in the week to check up on you !! LOL !!!

I have been maintaining and not really losing. Food has become a comfort again and that is not what I want. Its been a busy week and yesterday was a fundraising event which meant bake sales and lots of cake and yes I ate cake! I havent been in the gym since Sunday. I have lost my motivation for the gym. I seem to go from almost every day in the gym to almost never. Im hoping to get in this weekend but lets see. Have a good weekend and try and stay under 200lbs as I am trying to stay under 12stone at present. I am sure we will get back on track very soon xoxo
 
Hi FSO, can't believe it's Friday already !! How's your week been ?? I've managed some good walks and done some exercise everyday, the food has been about 70% good, oh for the days when I was 100 % for like a couple of weeks or more..... Sigh !!
Looking forward to the weekend, going to another party tomorrow evening, so will try and control it but I am planning to have a little drinky, so you never know !!!! I think I would struggle with the Gym, and I would hate knowing that I was paying for it and not going !!! Grrrr !!! Does your one have a pool, etc ?? I really miss swimming and I would do that three times a week if I had a decent pool near me.
My Monday WI will be here soon enough, so will just have to keep that in my head over the weekend.

Hi Diva, the gym doesnt have a pool and it has been soooo sunny so cant face being couped up in the gym. Well done on doing some exercise regularly - thats what i am struggling with. Have bought lots of healthy food so hopefully can start a better diet from Monday. God luck with WI. xoxo
 
Hiya !! Had a great weekend, the food at the party was wonderful, and I ate loads !!! Yummy !! It was a holiday here yesterday, so ate more food than normal, but no beers !! Yay !!! Got a STS....not surprised really. Going to aim for 2 lbs this week and super strict until Sat.... Gosh this is hard at the mo !!!

Super sunny here, already nearly 85 degrees before noon !!! Managed an early morning walk of 3 miles, hoping to do 4 miles tomorrow.... Need to get back up to about 5 miles a day with some jogging bits mixed up.... Feeling flabby !!!

wow!! you are impressing me with your walking/ jogging! well done on the sts and glad you had a great weekend. Its been really sunny here too!!! doubt it will last long so making the most of it. Back iffy so still not back in the gym. Its a good job i walk to work and back so get a total of 20 mins walking a day. Not great but better than nothing. 2lbs eh?? Maybe I will have to join you and try and aim for similar :)
 
Hi Diva. How did you get on. I lost the 2lbs so back down to 11stone 7lbs. :) Heres to another good week. I still havent been back to the gym though xoxo
 
Hiya FSO !!!! Reporting in, lol !!! Lost a pound, this is a hard slog !!! Didn't expect it to be plain sailing, but I feel like I have been paddling away in the shallow end, when I really need to be 110 % and just dive into the deep end !!! Hehehe !!

I have updated my June Challenge, so really it's in my sig now, which I'll keep updated !! Promise !! Well done on the 2 lbs loss, if you need a kick up the ar*e to get back into the Gym, you should read the Tough Love - Apply Within thread on here by Rod The Bass !! Ouchy !!! The truth DOES hurt, but it really makes you think about your goals and aims, without all the frou frou kindness, if you know what I mean !!!
