Step 1 Sole Source New team HARDCORE HOTTIES!!!

Sometimes I think I should look into retraining as a lesbian

Knew I shouldn't have taken a sneaky peek at the scales this morning. They've got stuck on 15st exactly, grrr. I haven't lost any weight since Saturday. :mad: I want to see 14 something! {{stamps foot}}

There, tantrum over. This is why sneaky peeks are not a good idea. :)

Tell me about it!! I'm not impressed with my 2lb loss at CDC wi, holding out until official wi tomorrow now.

Further to the tea situation I asked my CDC about it this morning, she said yes it has changed, but she still advises to avoid fruit teas because a lot contain hidden citric acid. It's not on the label so no way of knowing until you find you're out of ketosis. She said flower and leaf teas are absolutely fine though. I've bought some chocolate tea from the Tesco finest range not sure what its like about to try it. Verdict: It's weird!! Not unpleasant though, I think I let it brew too long cos I can taste the tannins in the tea, but it's okay, it's growing on me with every sip. No cals according MFP.

I wanna see 14 something tooo!!!! While to go yet though for me! I am sure you will drop some weight in the next few days - you know from before that weigh ins vary so much - some weeks we see big losses, some weeks we see no loss. Bloomin sucks - why can't we just lose at the same rate every week! I am hoping for a nice big surprise loss soon - at the moment my losses just seem to be going down at week - 16lb then 6lb then 5lb then 3lb - really really would like a bigger loss next week! Otherwise this is going to be a very very long process... averaging 3lb a week its going to take me another 40 weeks to get to my target :eek:4lb a week - 30 weeks, 5lb a week 24 weeks (like the sound of this much better!!!). Meh, we will see how it goes...

I can't wait to see the 14's again. 5 more lbs if my scales are to be believed! 7 if we go by my CDCs scales. I set the goal of being in the 14's on her scales when she comes back, aiming high!!

Someone said it tasted more like vanilla than chocolate? I'll have to look out for it. Maybe I'll venture into Peterborough tomorrow and see if I can find it.

The citric acid thing has always puzzled me. There's citric acid in the water flavourings that Cambridge consultants sell, I believe (though I'm happy to stand corrected.) And the jury is out on whether it really makes any difference or not, or whether it's the artificial sweeteners in diet pop that actually causes the munches. As I never test for ketosis (seriously, what's the point after the first few days if you're doing the plan 100%??) I wouldn't really know anyway.

And the munchies creep up on you regardless, don't they? I've been okay for several days now but I know from experience that there will be an evening very soon where I get mighty tempted. But I won't give in, promise.

I know. I know I have no right to moan when you're facing a much longer road than me. :hug99: But even if your average comes down to three pounds a week (which it won't, I'm pretty sure!), you're still going to be feeling one hell of a lot slimmer in 24 weeks time. We kind of forget that, getting all-focused on goal, don't we? That every stone off makes a huge difference to our quality of life and our health. Getting to goal is just the final bonus really.

Moan away love, we are all in the same situation at the end of the day!

I am off to bed - I am so unbelievably grumpy and tired..grrr

Worst case, go back to your old CWPC for one more week. Not ideal I know, but better than running out of products! Hopefully you will find a new one easily enough though. Guess it depends where you are - there seems to be lots round here to choose from!

Hi Hun have changed to new CDC weighing in with her tomorrow! She has done all the steps and sounds really nice! My only worry is that they are going to be different scales! Oh well I will weigh on mine before going to see if I can tell the difference as mine were 1lb out to the last CDC scales! X

Well done Cazza!! All in the right direction. I'll have to just see what happens at wi tomorrow.

Tomorrow will be the start of 810 week for me, my CDC is old school and insists on add a meal week every 5th week as apposed to after the 12th week laid out in the NICE guidelines. She believes it helps boost metabolism. I'm with her on this one, it worked in the past so I'm sticking with it. There must've been some science behind it. Also it gives a break from the 12 week monotony of shakes.

Good luck hun on your 810 week x

Oh that's good! It makes it so much easier when you have a supportive consultant. And hey, maybe you'll weigh less on her scales than you do on yours! ;)

Good luck hun on your 810 week x

Thanks, I'm going to need it, I'm not too familiar with this step so I'll have to keep getting my book out!!

I'm just watching the Undateables and I'm starting to think I'm undateable :( For years I blamed being fat, for no one wanting to date me. But then I met my ex when I was 13st so it wasn't really that. I did put up barriers before I met my ex but I don't so much anymore, so now I'm just stuck in a single girl rut :( all my friends are married and I don't know any single men. The men on the dating sites I occasionally have a look on are all posing with their six packs out, which I just find intimidating. OR they've been on the sites forever, which is also not a good sign. I'm just resigning myself to being single and probably shouldn't watch programmes like the Undateables. Oh well moan over.

Oh Sal, I'm pretty sure you're not undateable! Just maybe a bit short on opportunities to meet people at the moment. Doesn't mean it's always going to be that way. :hug99: And it's true what they say. Love comes along when you least expect it.

God I hope so, because I just can't see how to get out of this rut, short of going out to the pub on my own and while I'm fairly confident I'm not THAT confident. The house next door is empty and I'm secretly hoping a hot single man moves in.

LOL, be careful what you wish for! :D

Know how you feel x

Bless you Hun! I am sure you have a lot to offer the right person out there! Having been in a marriage for 19 years mostly unhappy apart from my 3 beautiful boys who are now men now! I then was naughty and had an affair I am still with this person and have been married for the second time so I am no expert and would not have the first clue about starting over and dating so sorry not able to offer any good advise! I am sure you have many attributes that would make someone very happy!

With your fab new body I am sure you will knock them all dead!
