Result!!! I found a box of Macrogel sachets I forgot I had! Got prescribed them when I was on oramorph after breaking my elbow! I assume they are ok to take - they are sugar free and don't contain any bad stuff?
 
That's Movicol - pretty good stuff! Might not work in time for weigh in though. Still, well worth taking cos you need to get sorted out.

Yes couldn't remember the other name for them! Also found some omeprazole so can take my naproxen again rather than the co-codamol. I have found that I am taking a lot less drugs on the whole since I started the diet than I was before! Painkillers specifically! Even if my stupid back is giving me trouble at the moment - the general aches and pains I had before have definitely eased.

Oh had a thought on the back pain - I have a rather large bust (42GG), and my bust has been getting some support from my rather large belly for the last who knows how many years. Now my rather large tummy has reduced somewhat, my bust no longer has anything to rest on! The pain in my back is half way down my spine - do you think it is possible it's my boobs that are causing the pain?
 
I'm not having a great night shift, despite drinking a lot of water, spreading my shakes out and just having had one, I'm feeling dizzy and my legs are aching. It's not pleasant, especially as my job is quite physical with very little opportunity to rest.

I was greeted with a table full of badness when I came in, and I've avoided all of it. But I'm really feeling the tiredness from not having my usual sugar/caffeine boost. Colleague says I look dead on my feet. I hate nights and can't wait to fall into bed at 8:30!!
 
Well done for staying strong Sal. I hate nights - don't do them any more thank goodness! But yes found them bloody hard when doing this diet before, as everyone used to bring in junk, and it is hard to say no at 4am when you know you have 4 hours still left and you are dead on your feet :(

Look like I am heavily pregnant this morning - tummy is so bloated :( Another movicol down the hatch, just need it to do something now, preferably before 5pm! Boiler appears to not be working, so have had ice cold wash and scraped my hair back in to a pony tail - no ideal but it will have to do for now! So decided to sit down with a nice coffee before getting dressed... only to discover I have run out of coffee. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. So have instead given a warm choc mint shake a try. Not impressed. Lumpy, despite a damn good mix, and there is a huge lump of soggy powder stuck to the bottom of the cup, so reckon I've only managed half the shake. Grrrr. Glad I have a few extra products kicking about so will have a fourth product later - 3 1/2 has to be better than 2 1/2 in my book!

Note to self: never schedule a weigh in for the morning after a night shift, as I've gained 1lb over night. Not happy so close to weigh in tomorrow, it was always going to be a small loss but with this gain its an STS :( so much for avoiding temptation last night.

Oh and to top it off someone has opened their car door onto mine with such a force it's caused a dent and scratched the paint off to the metal, fuming!!!!
 
1 hour until weigh in. Am not feeling good about it at all! I am so stupidly bloated and feel huge. Ok I am huge, but I feel even bigger! Constipation + PMT bloat means I'm not convinced I will see a loss at all!

You know you did the right thing by avoiding temptation - it will all be worth it in the long run xxx
 
3lb off!!! Surprised and happy with that. One of my smallest losses, but I am hoping it will set me up for a big loss next week, once totm is out the way and my toilet issues resolved ;)

Well done Cazza!! All in the right direction. I'll have to just see what happens at wi tomorrow.

Tomorrow will be the start of 810 week for me, my CDC is old school and insists on add a meal week every 5th week as apposed to after the 12th week laid out in the NICE guidelines. She believes it helps boost metabolism. I'm with her on this one, it worked in the past so I'm sticking with it. There must've been some science behind it. Also it gives a break from the 12 week monotony of shakes.
 
Sounds good - was considering doing the same myself, but going to push on for now, with the odd SS+ day if needed. Not weighing in again now until next Tuesday... so 8 days instead of 7, then my Consultant is away for a fortnight! Argh! Just hope I can manage a damn decent loss while I am away!!!
 
Mine is away for a week after tomorrow. I'm not sure how I feel about it. I might actually do SS+ for this add a meal week, sounds counter-productive after what I just said. But I'm not overly familiar with 810 and don't want to go off the rails with no CDC there to help me out of any confusions.

Normally when my CDC goes away I see it as an excuse to have a couple of days off after wi cos I have time to pull it back but never really manage to. So this time, no days off, just follow the plan to the letter!
