Nix you just can't have put on 3lb of muscle overnight that is impossible. Think of all the athletes and body builders who slog for hours in a gym to put on muscle. Since TOTM is due it will be water retention. Drink plenty of water today and if the weight has not dropped off again by tomorrow it will certainly have by the end of TOTM. I used to gain 5lb every month at that time and a week later was back to my usual weight. Don't worry about it and keep to your exercise plan. :)

I know.....

It has to be water..my TOTM seems to be coming n going..im putting it down to the diet....yea im not sure its right..it keeps giving me a show then nuthin... Usually a big bleeder. So i dont know whats up with that either. This is my first TOTM since being on exante. My first week on the plan id already started totom.

I want to excercise, i feel the urge..so best go with it whilst it lasts is what i say...

Im now in my smaller trousers an there loose.so i know im going down size wise, that makes me happy.

Im hoping the gains just a blip.....

Im chugging water an fluids today like a mad woman, and going to the loo loads, like every hour on the hour. Least im getting excercise running up an down the stairs at work. >.<

We shall see tomorrow

There is no way you will have gained that amount of muscle from doing one session of the shred. It has to be water retention from totm :)
Plus, a disturbed nights sleep will not have helped.
I'm the same as you, when ever I awaken I could pee for a racehorse ! But not if I havent had a good sleep ;)

I did another shred just now... Was feelin like i wanted to, so i went for it..

My 5 year old joined in and he managed about 50% which i was impressed with... Weight gain or no..im gonna excercise. An just roll with what ever comes along...the shreds not much cardio..more strength excercises....my stomach and sholders burn right now..but i kinda like it...

Makes me feel like theyve worked

We see what tomorrow brings

Ooooooo hoops.....

I like my shred videos i have the ten min ones too ten min tums. Ten min abs etcetc and lets dance is remarcably exhausting playing it with the kids for an hour

Any kind of moving abouts good...

I have a gym membership but going there is a chore ... I use it fir the salon etc though ..i do like to go treadmill or ex bike though


Now my sports bra fits again i may go more ...

Heres hoping for any kind of loss this week..i may refrain from any more weigh ins till friday morning

The dry stuff..in shakers of grinders..they do a lively garlic. Pepper n salt one too. I give them a twist in my soups to give them an umpfh ...

Sounds like a good idea just to add a little kick :)

Try not to worry about the 3lb, I'm sure by the time you read this it will be gone, like the others say I bet its water retention or just your body playing silly ******* :-(
Our bodies do the strangest things and we can't predict what they will do but I have no doubt it will be gone as fast as it arrived.

Chin up Hunni, you know you've been good and you know you exercise more than most so it will be a slight blip but don't let it get in your head x x x

Yay...im aching today from crunches.....
But the 3lb blip is off taking with another 0.75 lbs .... kaching......back on track for a nice loss this week...

Still two days to go, and two more shreds...

I will updaye friday when i have my official weekly WI.....im so happy and the excercise doesnt seem to make any difference. Apart from aches.

and jael..i know you dont have much space..the shred dvd doesnt take a lot of space.....did you look at your dvd yet

My kids are doing the shred with me. Tonight i have both of them doing it with me :)

No I lliterally dont have space, there's about half a metre from the coffee table to the tv and only inches around it. Years ago before we accumulated so much stuff and I had a bit more space I did it from a download on my computer (you couldn't get the dvd in this country at that point) and I found it impossible. I had too much fat flapping about when I did the starjumps etc. I have a huge overhanging tummy leftover from a messy c-section and the weight. Even when I lost weight last time I still had a curtain of skin which flapped about :( And I have massive boobs, I can't even get a proper sports bra to fit me, there's still too much movement, so anything that requires jumping about is out.

Oh and I can't do any kind of push ups now, I dislocated my elbow last year and my arm no longer straightens completely (which was a pain as it was my left arm and I'm a leftie). I had physio etc, but once that's happened the ligaments build up scar tissue which prevent your arm from completely straightening. I am still lacking in some strength on that arm. I notice it when I carry shopping bags etc.

Want to see my gross xray? It had all the nurses crowding around it, they'd never seen a complete elbow dislocation before.

Aaw im sorry to hear that hun...

I have whats called an "overhang" on my first c section.. the surgeon tucked it in because i was very big with my first pregnancy... My second c section they opened the same cut and tried to fix it a bit but not that much. Ive been told i will never have a flat stomach without cosmetic surgery... And i cant afford that.

I have big bewbs too im a 38G at the min..well thats the size of my bra. Its still a lil tight but i squeezed them into it last night...was a bit of a job...

But onwards an downwards..i wont be a size 18 n the beach in spain this year withy kids if it kills me... I will shred myself down... Till i feel right in a costume ( i want a bikini but one with the bigger bottoms like shorts) none of that skinny malarky for me...


I have clothes all the way down to size 14s... Id like to goto spain in 14s and a for 13s for new york :)

We eill get there jael.... With pur help we will do it

Ps..i cant do push ips either did 6 a set an gave up shhhhhh dont tell anyone :p

Yeah I was told that only a tummy tuck will get rid of that overhang :( I had thought about having it at some point when my daughter's older. I just need to get to goal and stay there for a significant amount of time before I can consider looking into it. I'd considered a boob reduction too. I've just gone down from a 42GG to a 40GG this week. I hate being so big, they just get in the way :(

I went to my GP last year at my lightest and she said if I kept the weight off she would refer me for a tummy tuck although no guarantee I would get it. Once I get back to slimness I will go back and pray she doesn't realise I had the gain in between as I do think the overhang makes it easier for us to re gain, if we had a nice flat tummy I'm sure we would look after it more ? :)

i have no chance here in york :(

so its the shred for me.. to crunch my skin as tight as i can and hope to get something like acceptable for the holidays
