Newbie on CD

My advice to you and anyone who is losing weight - Look at the trends over a longer period of time instead of getting too worked up in a week to week change.

What I mean by this is that from week to week you results will vary. There are many factors that will affect how much weight you lose. My advice is to look at the bigger picture. After 1 month from your starting weight to the end of that month did you lose weight? Yes?! FANTASTIC!

The risk with pinning all your hopes on a massive loss over a 7 day period is that if you do not see the loss you were hoping for then it can make you feel de motivated when really there is no need to feel bad! However I am sure your weight loss over the course of a whole month will make surprise you and make you feel great!

This is a marathon, not a sprint!! :)
 
First weigh in I lost 7lb which isn't as much as some but I'm really pleased. Lost 2 inches from my waist though?! It's motiviated me to keep at it, definitely.
