DD today and <gulp> considering making it a double! :eek:

yopu havedone fantastic this year well doen on all you have lost .We are about the same weight well not far off .I keep going up down up down lol
 
Thanks hun :) wish I could've lost the last bit on Dukan but the motivation just got up and walked out on me :eek: :)

still at least with JUDDD I'm maintaining and anything lost I count as a bonus right now :)

Same current weight, same goal weight :) what's your plan looking like? I want to get to goal for mid-November (birthday) if I don't pull my finger out and sort my UD's soon I'll be struggling :eek:

Was going to attempt a double down day set today/tomorrow but realised that would mean a UD on the day before weigh in as opposed to a DD which I'm sure would make the scales more favourable :D....mmm decisions, decisions!!

DD going well so far, time for another cuppa methinks...:) x
 
So I've been fasting since 9:30pm last night and I so far haven't caved, want to see if I can get through the day on just teas/coffees.

I find this way easier than if I eat just a little of something - because then the whole sky seems to cave in under the weight of the hunger demon :eek:

Time for Emmerdale and another cuppa! :) x

I do exactly that, just lots of tea. Find it a lot easier than worrying about how many cals I have and how I'm going to last until such n such a time with this number of cals. I'm no more hungry and I just get on with it rather than thinking/obsessing about my downs x

Yeah that was me yesterday and I woke up this morning feeling so much better for it :) it's like my body really has time to process and detoxify - at least that's what it feels like, I definitely feel more slim and dare I say svelte this morning :)

Although I didn't need a lot of sleep last night, going to bed late and waking up relatively early to say I'd had little sleep, I wonder if the little nugget I read about food making us lack energy as the body uses it to digest the food is actually very accurate :d...explains why I've always been a tired little so n so :D....as well as being a pig at a trough :eek::) x
 
Down day complete, nothing aside from black coffee and black tea passed my lips yesterday :) RESULT especially while having to prepare meals for others :).

Been fasting for 36.5hrs so far now - going to try and hold out for as long as possible today, it being a DD too (fingers crossed - first attempt at DDD) although I think I will 500 cal it today for safety's sake :)

And while I know Juddd is a bit of a weightloss pendulum, today I have hit a new weightloss low :) 145.6!b I never usually lose ANYTHING on a totm week :)

So the scores on the doors for this week are...

DD2 midway through GET IN :) saving my cals for dinner tonight so it's tea/coffee day again :)

decided to have a controlled ID on Saturday as I've weigh in on Sunday and it might just help keep me on the straight n narrow for the weekend :) x
 
Arg, I think I'm going to have to go with the alternating 24 hours! Started Monday doing straight alternating days but today did me in, I just went about 150-200 cals over for this down day :( So I believe I'll have to do 6pm to 6pm or something of that sort! Keeping my fingers crossed for you though :)
 
Hannata does the 5/6pm-5/6pm way :) looks interesting but it's too much number crunching for me :) means you're getting decent meals every day though...

First set of DD's nearly finished now, hasn;t been too bad, but I agree with Han - it's much easier to just drink loads of hot drinks and not eat, than it would be to stick to mini meals for 2 days, they wake up the hunger demon and make life so much more difficult on DD's.

Nearly dinner time :) aiming to get dinner/pud out of the way before 8:30/9pm as I'm up early in the morning and want the scales to have a good chance of showing some nice losses :)

I've just been looking online for some delicious christmassy treats, I'm really looking forward to xmas this year, for the first time in a few years I wont stress over breaking a diet or coming out of the other side of xmas with a hefty weight gain :) I feel so liberated, I can enjoy all the festivities and not stress!

Given that it's totm prior to trying I would've agreed with you, but seriously the warm drinks on constant supply and not having anything has been easier than when I first started out and I tried mini meals, not sure I'll do this long again without any actual food, but the experiment has been an interesting one.

I've been trying to "listen" to my body after reading some books on being mindful of hunger but tbh I think I must be wired wrong as although I fancy things to eat I still haven't felt anything like hunger (or if I have, I've not recognised it :eek:) x
 
I should add I've got my dinner sitting in front of me, bit hot at the mo, so letting it cool down before I eat any. You would think after nearly 48 hours without solids I would've pounced on it, but I'm quite comfortable with it just sitting there and am in no real hurry to eat any of it, sat sipping my black coffee while I wait :)

Fingers crossed this continues :) x
