.Nicki. - time flies.

NIcki sweetie it will be fine. If anything is wrong with the bike its new so will be under warranty, you should not have to fork out for it :hug99: Hubby will be fine driving to Derby :) Life throws alot of rubbish at us at times but your friends are always here to help you and support you if you need them :hug99: take care sweetie xxxxx

Hi nicki, like Jackie said your bike will still be under warranty so it shouldn't cost you a penny, your hubby will be fine driving to Derby, its not that bad here lol hope things are looking up for the week ahead x x

It only has a parts warranty, they won't pay for the labour (which is the expensive bit) Hubby will phone them at 9am when he gets back from the office. Will let you know what happens! x

sweetie that only stands later down the line. At the moment you have rights you have a brand new product that is 'not fit for the purpose' ie its a bike and it should start and move and drive along. You have rights on a brand new product :D they pay, they sort , it has to be 'fit for the purpose' hugs and good luck xxxxxxxxxxxxx

Thanks hun, Hubbs spoke to there mechanic today and he had no ideas. So they've asked us to email in a picture of the millage (all 3.7) of them so they can assess what there next step is, apparently they'll be in touch shortly. Hopefully they can get someone out to have a tinker with it, dad in law thinks its prob something really simple but as none of us know that much about the tech side its lost on us.

exactly and you are totally in the right.. at end of day if it doesn't start its not fit for the purpose. Just quote that line if anyone is iffy with you, it never fails to stop them in their tracks as they think you know what you are talking about rights wise :D

Hope all sorted soon sweetheart as can't wait to hear you have been out on your pink machine :D xxxxxxxxxxx

Just spoke to a nice man called Kevin who works for a local garage and he will be coming to have a look at the bike this afternoon/maybe tomorrow depending on his workload and its being covered by the company, which is a big relief. Hubby has just gone but father in law will come over when he arrives, its at times like these i'm glad i live opposite them. Will keep you posted x

Well done bestie for getting it sorted! I think the hardest thing has been done now, and that's getting them to agree to cover the cost of sending someone to fix it (even though legally they have to!)

Hope its fixed asap Nicki xx

Well Dot has just gone, they are taking her to the garage because it keeps raining and they don't want to risk taking her apart and then be stuck in the rain and frazzle her circuits.
The man was lovely and said he'd call me today and let me know what was going on, so please keep your fingers crossed.
I feel a little better now, its out of my hands and hopefully he'll get it all sorted for me. Oh and i'm not worried about it being stolen anymore, i walked into her (gently i might add) and set the alarm lock off, blimey its loud! Scared the wosits out of me!

I feel a bit lost without hubbs, i know he'd be at work anyway and we don't sleep in the same room but i'm a little unsettled about being in the house on my own, good job i have my guard Cat and Bunny!

Great news about the bike! Now you must stop worrying about it and let the garage do their job!

I suppose it is a bit strange being on your own in the house. I hardly ever get our place to myself so I love it when everyones out! Xx

My plan for tonight is to slap on a face mask, sit in the front room and shave my legs (nice) and wax my beard
Only problem is that there isn't much on tv so i'm going to be booooooooooooooored and i'm not sleeping much, I do have a LARGE bottle of Baileys just in case. I also feel guilty because hubby has been busy wrapping me in cotton wool for the last few days and dealing with things himself and he hasn't studied a lot, he's worried about me being on my own and if he fails it will have major implications on his work, i'm sure he'll do great, he always does buuuut you never no.

SHE LIVES, DOT RUNS

Unfortunatly directbikes won't pay for delivery and my father in law is out so i can't go collect it, but the man was lovely and is bringing her home for a tenner, which thankfully i have in my purse. Can't really argue because he's doing me a favour and has been really helpful. Prob won't be going on it today because its really windy but i'll get some decent pics x

A little dirty and covered in big greasy man handprints but hopefully thats fixable (oil marks on the cream seat :( ) Will be fighting hubby for the driveway now. The mechanic has ridden her but when he dropped her off warned me that where the tires are sooo new they have no grip and where its so windy and rainy here it would be best not to go out unless i was very confident rider (obviously could tell i wasn't) so shes all tucked up under her cover!
