Nicola's Cuba Countdown

Good luck with 777! I've done well today and kept syns to 8 so could have been worse hah =D I could so go for some chocolate or 4 syn bag of crisps.... BUT I'm going to be restraint! Tried to fill up with fruit...got Superfree all the way to to 11 in my efforts! :p this 1/3rd Superfree is difficult, trying to keep the Red Days in mind too

I know, it is disappointing when it doesn't show what you hope though - the same has often happened to me! I too am hoping for a decent loss since I missed mine this week but I need to get exercising and need to really watch what I do this weekend too, keep syns and everything to a minimum!

Let's hope we're both on for a good one this week, the hard work has to pay off at some point :) x

Haha I think I'm going to find it a challenge! Is each glass of water 250ml? I drink a 1l bottle at work each day so that's 4 sorted, and then drink at least a pint glass every evening so that's another 2, so just need to ensure there's one more in there. Does it have to be water or can it be sugar free cordial??

Cordial in water still counts, and yup 250ml! I have a glass drinking bottle I take to work, I was very geeky and checked the ml in a measuring jug haha! Work have these piddly lil glasses that must be about 150ml, talk about making it difficult!

Morning all, new positive head back on today - am going into work a bit later today so have spent this morning planning out my 777 week! I'm rubbish at no carbs... a day isn't complete without a bit of stodge! ;) Enjoy them!

Where do you buy scan bran from? Looked in Asda and Tesco no luck... well presuming its with the cereal stuff maybe I am looking in the wrong place! The sun is out yay! x

Afternoon all! I am soooo pleased to see the sun out although it took me rather by surprise - I'd packed my work clothes in my gym bag last night (jeans and a long sleeved heavy top with boots) and didn't realise just how hot it was today until I had to put them on post-gym! Thank goodness for summer hours (where we can leave at 12 on a Friday providing we've worked our hours) which meant I could get back out of them and into my bikini instead! :D Set up residence on my sun lounger with a magazine, my healthy lunch and a bottle of water, and have only just moved! :D Although I am now red down one side.... oops

Today's summary...

Exercise: 30 mins at gym (15 run, 15 bike) - managed to hurt my hip while running, hope it's better by tomorrow or else the 5k run will have to be postponed!

As xMissKx said, from class (£1.20) or from Holland & Barrett (about £1.50 I think) - you wouldn't want to eat them as they come, tough is an understatement!! ;)

before i started sw...i had tried them with banana on them and they were...well...a challenge lol. but i use a lot in the scan bran cakes which i do like.
can't imagine me having them if it weren't for the "cake" recipes lol x

I've still never eaten one "raw"! The amount of water it takes to soften them for the cakes tells me all I need to know! :D

i actually crumble mine into tiny wee bits into a bowl then bash them down with a rolling pin...it does far too long and is sore on the finger tips lol, but then i pour some boiling water on the "crumbs" (don't need that much) and mix it all round.
the smaller the pieces, the better cos when i've not crushed them, it's been hard trying to soften the bigger bits so i can imagine! lol x

That's a good idea! I've been sticking my mixture in the blender to deal with any bits I might have missed! :)

Just got my Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred DVD - watched through level 1, and it looks doable, so BRING IT ON!!!! :D

Morning all! My hip seems to have sorted itself out, and the sun is shining, so I'm going to go and do my second Park Run! :D Wish me luck! x
