Right, so it's Day 7 and I'm now eating vegetables again wooooo hooo. I bl**dy hope it helps with the 'transit' issue as that becoming slightly annoying now. I've also just checked and my TOTM is due in a day a 2. So because of those 2 reasons I'm hoping that's why I feel a little bloated today and the scales have remained the same. I'm aware that my PV days may make me retain a little water too, but I think my TOTM is to blame right now.

I MUST stop weighing myself every day! I even found myself getting the scales out yesterday after a particularly big wee :D:D

I did the school run today IN THE RAIN! I know Summer Time officially ended yesterday but did the skies have to take it quite so literally??!! :cry:I've decided that I'm going to use the school run as a positive thing rather than being sad that I wont be seeing Millie for another day. I'm going to pop baby Daisy (5 months old) in the pram (rain cover and all) and do a power walk around the block back to the car park after dropping Millie off. I reckon it should take about 15 mins, but I figure that's enough to be going on with. Having my 2 girls (the pregnancy not the birth) has unfortunately left me with a condition called SPD so rigerous exercise is out of the question unless I want my pelvis to completely fall apart, but I think a little fast walking shouldn't do too much damage. I also think sit ups are now in order. My tummy is now half the size it was before starting Dukan so I'm definitely spurred on to tone it up now. I might even dig out my 30 Day Shred DVD as I know for a fact that one works and it only last 30 mins. Even I can find 30 mins in a day, especially now I'm not say on my a*se eating for as long anymore!

Ooops Sainsburys delivery man is knocking.... byeeeeeeee

hey nikki my internet went down but ive switched to asda's own diet and caffine free coke its good and if im out i have a voddie and diet coke !!!!!!!
 
that asda one is the best as it doesnt have citric acid in which can make you stall !
 
Oooo I didnt know about citric acid. You girls are good. Come on, pass on more secrets.................. what's the one about asparagas? Cold showers? I'm just spouting things I've glanced at in threads!
 
lol i dont do the asparagus but vicks has posh dippy egg with asparagus and apprantly cold showers are supposed to help with weight loss mmmmmmmmmmmm im not going to try that one !!!!!!
 
asparagus makes you wee so no water retention. also makes your wee smell as if you have kidney problems lol or been eating plastic bags. yes the cold showers 2 mins - 100 cals :D
eat before 6 and not after! (thats what i try to do)
cheese can stall and any citric acid so that includes lemon juice!
 
jet the cold showers are fab!
 
OK, wee that smells of plastic bags and freezing cold showers! Appealing...I think not!

I think I'll stick to the old fashion way of doing it :D
 
Ladies I'm worried. I want a babybel but I cant find anything about having cheese during the cruise stage in the book. Help!

All cravings have gone thankfully and I didnt do anything naughty yesterday afterall. xx
 
see ur a good girl and u seem to be able to withstand ur cravings ,i think the only way ive managed to do this diet when i found out we could have diet coke well thats my one and only vice lol so i havent really craved anything really !!!
 
Not just cold showers (ugh no thanks) but putting ice in your drinks helps.

Asparagus is great.

Hope things are moving - there are tips for that all over.

Right, so I made it not only through the weekend with only one 'naughty' (a mouthful of stuffing!) but I made it through a kids party without eating one single yummy sausage roll/chicken nugget/mini pizza/birthday cake..... I gave myself a pat on the back for that one.

I'm also resisting the urge to weigh myself daily too. Hang on, I'm lying in my own diary!!!!! :eek: The only reason I'm not weighing myself daily is because the batteries have gone in the bathroom scales :D I am however consciously not putting new ones in til Friday.

It was a PV day for me today and I think I went overboard with the salad. God, who would have thought I would ever utter those words! :D I had about half a plate of salad and only one small/medium steak. I'm not going to kick myself up the a*se though for a bit of salad. I'll just have to be more aware of portions in future.

Highlight of my weekend = OH did ALL of the ironing while I was out. We're talking 2 weeks worth (dont judge me, I had a cold ;)). I can now sit here with a cuppa and a Mullerlight and watch this lovely period drama guilt free :)
