nikki's diary - closed...... moved over to maintenance to test the water!

well i feel lots better today! i'm just not touching coffee. i'm having tea with milk, mind i've only had 1 cup (decaf) today and i normally have 4-5 cups of dec coffee a day so i think my water intake might be lower today. i still drink 4 pints minimum but i also add more to my shakes and drink hot coffee to up it too. :(

still only a pound down today! weigh in tomorrow. i won't see her next week as she's on holiday. don't know what to do :( :cry:

baked easter cakes with my 3 year old today and almost forgot about being on my diet as i almost licked the spoon :eek: could just eat one as they look fab.
 
aw glad to see you are feeling a bit better.

I have just nibbled the kids tea!! MUST stop doing this. take care and dont worry about your weigh in. i never weigh with my cdc, always do it myself at home. try that, its not so bad.
 
my weigh in is about the same as my CDC so i usually just stick with her. i hope the whoosh fairy visits and takes out 3lbs tonight with her whosh whosh gun.

feeling very very tired and i've got pilates tonight. missed last weeks due to my mum's distress. she's not heard anything yet about stuff. she wants me to follow it up for her - feel awful in saying this but i have so much do to and so much on my plate that one more thing is just too much at the moment. :( feel a real nasty person for saying that.

been down tonight, just sick of last week's rubbish loss and the potential of this week's loss being rubbish too. had 3 of my 4 things so far. choc, porridge and bar - one thing left and i might have my tetra as a hot choc when i get home from pilates. that'll be a 8.45pm job. the thing i hate about monday's is that it's so late. 7.30-8.30pm. i hope i don't need the loo half way through. :eek:

this is a whingy post.... just feel miffed off with everything and tired and hoping that i'm getting enough water into my fat arse.

ems stole a bottle of my water tonight and i finished drinking it then discovered floating cake bits in the bottom of the bottle. grrrrrrrrr..... kids. suppose there will be no probs with it.

matthew's had his head bashed so many times today that it's been crazy. i hope he's got a hard head. he was half way up the stairs today too. i went into a room and left the gate open and grabbed some washing from the room. when i came out he was half way up the stairs - literally. nightmare. we've a gate on the top but not on the bottom. i don't think that we could fit one either.

right kids to bed as emily is being a total pain in the bottom.
 
p.s i keep having odd periods too. something and nothing. it should be nothing on the depo injec but since having ems and matthew that seems to have changed. i'll have to google it all and find out some info about it. next one's not due til may either.
 
Just a thought, could it be the injection? When I had been on the combined pill for a couple of years I started spot bleeding between due dates and they changed me immediately. Worth enquiring?
 
totally miffed with ebay. someone bought something from me, i had to report them to ebay for non-payment and now they're telling me there are stains on it. they wanted a partial refund or to return the item so i said they could return it. they've now issue a paypal dispute. i think they know that there isn't any stains on my little boys dungs but want the clothes and the money. i'm so upset as they've been pretty horrid and have left nasty feedback saying the item is fit for the bin!!!!

so angry, hurt and upset as sure as eggs are eggs paypal will give them their money back and they keep the item so their son will be wearing it! they're con merchants.

normally you don't have any periods nothing at all. it def feels like one though. not heavy like a normal one though. first one since my son was born april last year.

well it looks like good day. after a night of hardly any sleep worrying about ebay and paypal and this nasty person.

well done nicki! I have LOADS of stuff to put on ebay but never done it and too scared to do it. is it hard to start up? wanna put all my mamas and papas/blooming marvellous maternity clothes on as they are too expensive to just give to oxfam.

it's really easy to do. if you have an ebay account just google baby clothes in the size that your selling (or maternity clothes). then go to one and click on the link at the bottom that says sell one like this.

you will need to alter the wording and put a picture on from you pic file - you can do this through photobucket if you want to. then list - check it, agree or edit the list and you're done.

so pleased.

well, i've gone up plans to the 810 now so milk, food and 3 shakes.

didn't have my first shake til lunch time today - i say shake... it was porridge lol. then a bar at the gym with a lovely cuppa tea. i've another shake and my meal. i won't go hungry today!

i was really wiped out at the gym today though, only ran for 22 mins before i conked out. i think through tiredness than food. need to seriously catch up! not been good sleep wise since friday. went to bed late and got up early on friday/sat am, no sleep at the caravan sat night/sun am, not much on sunday due to nasty e-mails from ebay buyer and then not much on monday night/tues am due to paypal dispute. :( so i need some tonight. might go to bed at 9am.

nevermind thursday gym is another day.

tomorrow is body pump. my body is really sculpting well. did my measurements again so i will have to back and find my old ones and put my new ones up here.
 
here are my measurements from about 2/3 weeks ago...

hips 42in (107cm) makes me a size 16
top of thigh 23in
waist 33in (84cm) makes me a size 16
bust 40in (102cm) makes me a size 16
top of arm 13in
wrist 7in
ankle 10in

new measurements are as follows

hips 41in
top of thigh 23in
waist 32in
bust 38in
top of arm 12in

haven't taken the rest.

i started off with a 40in waist according to my CDC but the measurements were on top of my clothes. anyway in that case there has been an 8in loss on my waist.
 
tell me please.... why, why do i always go to the loo big time once my weigh in is over and done with! been 3 times today after my weigh in :D i suppose it'll show next week but that could have been another 1/2lb. :rolleyes: typical!
 
p.s i keep crying at last nights secret millionaire..... zoe's place gets to me each time. so sad.

i live near redcar and it is a depressing site. the secret millionaire was right about what he said about the government. the mps said they'd keep the steel works open but they've let those workers down. there's just nothing left in redcar.

Good news on your inch loss, its a good idea to keep track and great to see them actually written down as well.

So you are on 810 now, how are you finding it? Thats the plan I'm on and as I go to the gym, its better for me. I came out and knew I'd burned cals, so had an extra half a shake.. Your tiredness might be due to lack of cals and the amount you are burning. So just keep a check on your cal counter on the treadmill.

nicki! wow on the inches lost. we sometimes forget about inches dont we when we cncentrate on the scales.

i don't tend to notice how many cals i burn at the gym. for me at the moment it's irrelevant. i tend to use my polar watch but the battery has gone and i haven't got round to replacing it yet. i must do that as i miss it. it also tells you for how many mins you were in your 'zone' for. how much of your workout was fat burning etc. fantastic thing. tells you your heart rate and how many cals you've burnt. love it. the treadmills tend to be off but with a polar watch you set your user so you can put in your weight and height and it calculates it perfectly.

i think i burn around 1250 to 1500 a week just at the gym, not inc swimming or housework, wandering around or the general 'living'.
