No more excuses

Was meant to start level 3 this morning but haven't bothered. Got good results from the shred at end of level 1, combined with SW I think it was an inch off hips, calves and bust, plus half inch off waist. Stopped about half Wat through level 2 due to boredom so alternating with gym days now, plus 1 day off a week.

Have decided to draw a line under my poor behaviour and have planned food till Tuesday. I'm thinking if I plan ahead I'll be spending less time racking my brains trying to think what I can make with what I have in. Or that's the plan. Also. As much as it's wrong I'm going back to my daily weigh ins. I know for most people this doesn't work but I really have no willpower so at least of I see it sneaking up midweek I'm more likely to stay on track. Waiting till the end of the week is no good for me. So: reassessment done and focus back. Will see how I go :D

That's good results though, especially as I imagine you're quite fit with the exercise you do anyway. Am going to restart. Need to do something as I want to be a size down for our holiday at the. Start of may which is quickly approaching!

Your plan of attack sounds good. I have a whiteboard thing on the side of the fridge and write down the meals I have the stuff in for and then make a choice each morning. You definitely sound more focused anyway xxx
 
I'm sure you'll manage to lose a dress size by then, you're already doing so well :D Are you wanting to continue spinning or try something different? I'm not fit, honestly. I really need to start looking at portion control, I just have such a big appetite. Plenty of water methinks :)

Well I've written all my meals, bar tomorrow's lunch cos u'm not sure what we're doing, on a piece of paper and keeping it in my bag to check. OH won't allow anything on the fridge or anywhere, he's a minimalist kinda guy and the only place it's allowed is pinned up in the wardrobes! :O

Ill still carry on with the spin I think just not as frequent at the mo as I need to concentrate more on the running if I'm going to do this run in June.

I have a huge appetite too. I think that's why sw suits me so well. I know I should look at portion control but want to exhaust all the other options first as I really don't want this to feel like a chore iykwim.

Wow. Oh is a bit random lol. My fridge is covered in crap haha. But as long as its somewhere to keep you focused then you're doing great. we'll get there in the end x

How long have you been running for now? At least you won't get bored as you're spinning too :) How far is the run again, I forget.
Appetite's the reason I do SW too: you still feel like you're eating enough. I know my problem is treats and not having things ready when I'm hungry.
Yeah, OH is a bit random but then he puts up with my eccentricities so it's fair I guess ;)

Erm, I'm about to start lol. It's an 8.5 mile. I know I won't run of it but at least it's something to work towards. It's good that you recognise your downfalls. Mine comes when I'm tired and can't be bothered to cook. If I have one takeaway I have six.

Lol as long as you balance each other out. Hubby and i are like that. I'm a stress head and he's so chilled its unreal. Opposites attract and all that x
 
We're exactly the same! He's just so calm about everything, he's so laid back he's practically horizontal, minus a few neuroses ;)

8.5 miles is pretty impressive! I was proud I managed 5k the other day, was beet root for an hour lol.

I know what you mean about cooking. That's why I've got some chilli on the go now to freeze, and super speed soup in freezer AND packets such as pasta in sauce and noodles just in case.

T'OH decided to buy me a double decker and I was starving when I got in so have updated today's diary: total lack of willpower but still within syns :D

Ha ha, mine just keeps doing it. Don't get me wrong I could have left it in the fridge but I'd have felt guilty and he would have eaten it tomorrow and then I'd feel robbed! Lol. So yeah, I could say no but can't bring myself to. Will get there eventually, might just take a while longer ;)

Lol. I go beet root every time I exercise. Look on the verge of a heart attack after spin lol. Yeah I'm trying to keep things in the freezer but am down to just two at the monent. Gonna knock up a curry tomorrow to add to t though x
 
Awwww, bless ya Emma. On the odd occasion I buy OH chocolate he usually insists on sharing, so I've stopped. Lol, sure he's a feeder ;)

The odd thing is I don't go red with other exercise? All other cardio I go a little pink but 5k jog = bright red. Even after a shower, make up on, etc, still the red shows through.

Ok so I had an amazing day with OH yesterday but ended up off plan :( No one's fault but mine and straight back on plan this morning. We went for a lovely walk up to captain cook's monument, then another walk round Great Ayton with a Suggit's ice cream (home made at a little village shop and the best in the world). THEN went to another village and had rabbit pie with veg in a country pub with a pint of cider and black, then his parents' for a cuppa, then home and a few alcoholic drinks and couple biscuits while watching our Sunday night shows and giggling our heads off. So......lovely day but completely off plan

It's so much easier at work isn't it - was just thinking that myself. I drink loads more water and am less likely to snack.
 
Yeah. Definitely. Especially when you're kept busy. Must say when we have quiet periods I do get tempted by the coffee shop ;) Still got prep to do for this interview so no quiet periods for me today, eeeeeek! Don't think I'll sleep tonight :O
