Obviously yrs not official as it's not weds weigh in but chuffed none the less!

Right we are off to climb white nancy and then go for a 4 mile walk this afternoon.

Hope everyone has a lovely day in the sunshine xx

Glad you're feeling better and pleased for you that you managed to stay in the 10s. Not sure i'd have managed that in your situation.

Not sure how I did that Cate! But thanks :)

You're doing well chick. Hope you get back to feeling 100% better soon :) x

Thanks hon, how you feeling after your mammoth training session? I bet you scared Katie with that one ;)

Feeling alright. Just missing carbs and now I'm thinking I should add some carbs because I'd be more effective when exercising. But I know that that's a slippery slope for me. So ill just have to plough on, no carbs for now.

I can still exercise on 3 packs. After next week, ill slow down on the exercise a bit anyway :) x

Glad you are feeling back to your normal self long legs :D. Enjoy your walk xx

Well that was an eventful afternoon. Had a lovely 4 mile walk around lathkill dale and stopped at a beautiful tea rooms called the garden tearooms in over haddon - it's run out of someone's house and they do the best cakes! Sorry I'm still not properly back into diet mode yet! Lol!

Anyway, so we are sat in the sun and suddenly my mum says I might go over there in the shade, finds a bit of shade and says, no I need to walk, come walk with me Colin, to my dad. So off they walk, into a shady area, mum looks a bit wobbly, the next thing I know I look up and dad is bending down so I leg it over and mum has passed out cold. She is lying on her back with her eyes wide open making a gurgling snoring noise and dad is calling her to wake her up. I immediately called someone to get an ambulance and dropped down to my knees, and quickly put her into the recovery position, supporting her head. The owner Kate gave me a pillow to put under her head and then mum shook a little as she came round. She was very pale and disorientated, and her pulse was very weak. I was so scared while she was out, it felt like hours but can only have been 30-40 seconds.

The paramedics turned up after 20 mins or so by which point she was sat up but then took a turn for the worse after they did the pin prick test. Her blood pressure was so low (57 over 32 at one point) they put her on oxygen and have her a drip). When she finally felt better she refused to go to hospital, so they monitored her for a bit and she went inside the tea shop owners house for a while and then we drove home.

Typical of my mum not to want to go to hospital - she's got an appointment with the docs tomorrow anyway though - she's on beta blockers for high blood pressure and dad has the read outs of her blood pressure and ECG from the paramedics so hopefully she'll be ok. It was so worrying though, and even more that if I hadn't have been there I don't think dad would have called an ambulance, or even put her in the recovery position. I had to tell him what to do! Scary stuff. Strangely it's made me want to go for a run so I may go out for one now.

Hi Yoyo. I'm pleased your mum came round alright and hope all goes well with the GP tomorrow. Well done for not gaining weight. I'm not surprised with all the exercise you do.

10 stone 13.2 again today, 3lbs on! Must have been the cake :) although I always seem to put on after a run day. It will come off.. Exante day today and off up white nancy now. Have a good day folks! X

Hi Yoyo, sorry to hear about your mum. Has prompted me to go online and jog my memory about the recovery position. I have learnt it before but realised reading your tale that I wouldn't be sure about how to get someone onto their side, bending arms and legs etc. Anyway, hope she got on OK at the GPs. And yes, that 3lb gain will be gone in no time. Hope you've had a good day.

How is your mum today Yoyo xx

Susie, TH and Cate - thanks for your messages :)

Mum is feeling a bit rubbish today but the doctor didn't seem overly concerned so hoping there's nothing wrong apart from she overheated..

Pleased to hear that. :) Hope you've had a good day.

Had a great day today thanks Cate. Worked all day had a meeting this afternoon. Walked up white nancy this morning but got a migraine so went back to bed for a bit when we got back. Took Barney for another short walk this evening.

Food wise pretty good too:

Carrot sticks and humous - 150 cals
Chicken tikka and yoghurt dip - 150 cals
Cherries
Caramel coffee frappucino - approx. 350 cals
A few squares of dark choc
Atkins choc shake before bed - 150 cals

Reckon with the milk in teas and coffees today I'm finishing at well under 1,500 cals

Let's see what the scales say tomorrow. Run planned for tomorrow morning. Wanted to carry on with the abs challenge today but I still have stomach cramps so prob not wise..

Night xx

10 stone 12 this morning. If I'm good over the next couple of days hoping I can get some more off before official weigh in on weds and actually have lost some over the last 2 weeks! Lol!

Right, off up white nancy. Still struggling to get up in time to get up there for 7am but we're trying! Have a great day folks xx

Good day today.. Bit of work this morning and afternoon in school then a mtg this evening re. The brownie sleepover we are organising in sept.

Exercise wise I went for a 28 min run - ran 2.6 miles (including the 5 min walk to warm up) I finish the c25k this week then next week I start my 8 weeks of training for the 10k - eek! Exercising 6 days out of 7 - mixture of 3 runs, cross training (swimming, cycling) strength training and yoga. Plus I'm doing abs where I can :)

Busy week this week - london with work tomorrow, champagne tasting with a 5 course meal (6 glasses of champagne each!) on Thursday evening, then Chester races on Friday. Night out Saturday with my best mate - haven't had a girlie night out in ages and she's just split up with her boyfriend so I said we should go out. But, have to be up super early Sunday to get up white nancy for 7am as we are all having breakfast up there - it's our monthly breakfast club. Plus Saturday during the day we have a family party! Eek!

Also walked up white nancy this morning too.,

Food wise - granola with fresh blueberries for Bfast, then a bar for lunch, 2 slices toast with marmite and butter on one and peanut butter on the other, a few dark chocs. Then pasta with a quick home made tomato, rosemary and bacon sauce for dinner, followed by fresh strawberries and a small 120 cal square of home made choc brownie my mum made. She used a healthy recipe with coconut oil, black beans instead of flour, maple syrup etc so no nasties.. It was the first time she had made it and it was yummy!

Non run day tomorrow so back to exante. Will take a bar with me for lunch and can't decide what to do for Bfast / dinner as we'll be in london all day and setting off at 5am. Will take some of our home grown strawberries with us.

Going to do abs tonight. I'm a lot behind the abs challenge now as I haven't done them since I was ill in Italy but I feel better now so going to give them a go before bed. Early night for me.

Hope everyone else has had a good day? Xx

Sounds so healthy - your food choices and exercise!
