Have taken the head staggers today after much procrastination and a fortnight's holiday where I felt too uncomfortable to get into the pool and ate so much it wouldn't have helped my situation! I'm joining SW this evening and am dreading the big weigh in.
I've been yo-yo-ing since I was a teenager, getting down to my target weight of 9st 12lbs for my wedding 3 years ago. A year later I was delighted to discover I was pregnant and have used it ever since as an excuse for my 4st weight gain.
I've had an epiphany! Enough is enough! Hoping for some motivation to make it work this time, and any initial tips are very welcome. I know the hardest part is starting the weight loss journey, and seeing the results spurs you on.

I hope you don't mind me joining. I'm going to join Slimming world tomorrow in Newtownabbey and hopefully will come out armed with books and motivation
I have about 15lb to lose, I won't be 100% sure until class tomorrow night. I got down to goal weight a couple of years ago with WW but it's crept back on and I just can't get my head round their new points system. To be honest I like the idea of SW in that I don't have to count everything.
