LOL - afternoon ladies and Jim, sorry I have not been about much but very hectic, last night was my fave band doing "a tour in a night" - 3 pubs and lots of singing and alcohol (apart from me who was driving of course) got home at 10 past one this morning having had a brilliant night - bit tired today and off to Preston tonight after work to take my family presents over so they have them ready for the festivities. Hope it is not going to be too late a night! Probably won't get on here later so hope you are all well xx

Afternoon all
Went to 3 family members last night - straight after work and nobody offered me anything to eat!!! Had to ask for a couple of digestives at my last call as my stomach was rumbling. Too late to eat when I got home so just had a JD and went to bed - ended up so hungry this morning I had a sos and egg mcmuffin and hash brown on way into work sticking with yog for lunch though.

Will try and do a bit of a catch up tonight but need to do last bit of shopping on way home (that should be fun) and then make some proper dinner for both of us as we have not been in at all this week for one reason or another. Things at the hospital with her Dad are still very much a mess too which is not helping our Christmas spirit one iota. If he comes out his mental health has deteriorated so much in the last couple of weeks I don't see how her Mum could cope with him. **** ain't the word for it.

No news from hospital today so far. L has twin brothers who are all taking turns at visiting so it is not all on her shoulders thank goodness. We are going out for our Crimbo meal tonight and then a gig to follow so hopefully forget it all for a few hours. Thank you for your support and hugs guys xx

Evening all, had a lovely afternoon once the housework was done, opened my Baileys........and did the veg for tomorrow, roasted my spuds - they look absolutely fabulous, and my parsnips, which taste so good I am not sure they will last till tomorrow lol.

Steak and chips (I had sprouts with mine and a curry sauce too) for dinner tonight and it was soooo good - really enjoyed it. And, I have pursuaded the missus we should go out tonight.............telly is crap so nothing worth staying in for.

In other news FiL has been moved to the community hospital (as far as we know) so they will be going to visit there tomorrow instead. He rang the MiL yesterday and verbally abused her down the phone so it will be a really short visit I am thinking...............
