Nope Katie, we still have lots around here, we are a bit high up and it is cold so not going anywhere for a while I would think, had trouble getting to class tonight, thought I was going to have to abandon my car and take the missus's new one (scary thought). Got it out in the end...................did 2 classes and have been quite low carb today considering all the bad stuff in the house. Tomorrow might be a worse day food-wise as we are off to the Trafford Centre, but there will be lots and lots of walking. I hope to get home for bokwa at 7pm too but don't tell the missus or she will keep me out longer so I can't go lol.

Sorry if not getting round all your diaries, am trying but my concentration levels are fairly ***** at the mo xx

Morning Bren, our snow is gone as well, your's still sticking arounf?

Evening all, didn't buy anything for myself (except chicken jalfreizi for my lunch - no naan or rice - how good was that?????) but bought the wife a Swarovski owl and a card for her birthday and a valentines one too.

Got back in time to go to classes, did Zumba followed by advanced Bokwa - and loved every minute. Came home, warmed up some slow cooker beef in ale and roasted butternut squash, plus some mashed taters for the wife. Sharing a bottle of red. Will try and catch up on a few of the diaries tonight - apologies for being rubbish on here currently xxx

Yes it is very yummy even though I was missing a couple of ingredients from the recipe. Basically you add a load of chopped braising steak, a bottle of irish stout, some beef stock, a bit of flour, a dozen shallots and a chopped onion, mix it all up - didn't even need to brown the steak..............and bung it in the slow cooker on high for 8 hours......if anybody wants the full recipe I will put it on, not all of it is suitable for induction but it is worth playing with the ingredients to make it more so. xx

Morning bren, I like the sound of that Stew, can you put it on the recipe thread please :)

and no apologies needed love, you do what you have to do.

Will do when I have 10 minutes Jim, been a full on day (once we got up lol) big dog walk - still in snow here - found I had a puncture, took car to tyre place, puncture on back repaired but needed 2 new tyres on front so now skint...........have done well though, they are the original tyres from when I got the car 7 years ago. Been out for tea and going out to band practice tonight, missus coming too for a change seeing as we don't have to get up in the morning.
Hope you lot are well xx

Expensive car trip! Tyres aren't cheap!! Sounds like you're having a good week though Bren... Keep warm and wrapped up! Xx

Morning Bren 7 years is a long time for tyres love, you got lucky there. So how was the night out then

Morning Bren! Hope you're enjoying your week off! :D

Afternoon all, night out was good, well I enjoyed it and the copious JD and diet coke that I got through, ended up pogoing on my own lol - they don't often see me like that lol, especially not on a wed night ;)

We were going to use our raffle prize today, free pie n peas etc, but on checking voucher, it says weekends only..........going to wetherspoons instead probably, then over to see MiL.

Hope you are all well xx

Evening Bren, glad you had a good night out
Xxxx

Happy birthday to Loretta! Have a lovely evening - wish I was coming, I have to go to a performance of school dance and music, inspired by urban spaces...say no more.

Snow's on the ground here but it's also bright sunshine!
