Am loving coffee scan bran cake at the moment as is syn free and I am trying to keep my syns very much in check! I particularly like it warm as I prefer the texture. Munching my way thru one for breakfast at mo

SPICEDFRUIT SCAN BRAN TEA CAKE
-------------------------------------
5 scan bran (5 syns)
large cup of strong black tea (brew 2 teabags for about 10 mins)
35g raisins (5 syns)
1 tbsp malt extract (2 syns)
3 beaten eggs,
6 tablespoons sweetener,
1 tsp mixed spice (2 tbsp of mixed spice is a bit much!)

Ok, I'm trying again, 3rd time lucky! I've just made Dudette's recipe (above) for my latest attempt. It's just pinged and smells lovely x

We are having strawberry tasters in group tonight so made a strawberry and chocolate scan bran cake! Is so good added more chocolate and more cocoa than normal as is a special occasion and made it so much more chocolatey

Dudette, of you read this, your tea bread one was amazing, it went in no time, I have four kids and they all loved it too! I'll have to make a much much bigger one next time haha Thanks for the recipe x
