I keep all my vases of flower in the hallway...much cooler out there. I've only just thrown away some Matt gave me the week or so before Mother's day.

Jaffa...have no idea about 'pins'. I don't think I've ever had tulips before. I mostly prefer to see spring flowers going outside.

Great news Janet that you slept better and not so good about your tulips Lynne. My birthday flowers are stil beautiful! Better get on I am kinda spring cleaning in stages, well it is Spring (more or less) and I've just cleaned under things in my bedroom, going to do bookcases in stairs hall now, a very dusty space I can do it!

Oh Janet no one else will know it's been done (however kids did help me when they got back from their nans). I have to admit it reminded me how much I still love this house, we have lived here 19 years and I still love it (my home and not cleaning!)!

My mum and dad are coming for lunch tomorrow. Hope you have a nice plan for the rest of the Easter weekend!

Have a nice time with your mum & dad. We're just at home...me recuperating...my eldest grandson (17) has a sickie bug which I hope doesn't go through the rest of Sarah's family! Her mother in-law is sick with a cold...so not much of a get together this year!!


Just got one more day of antibiotics and then I hope I shall feel a lot better. I've actually been up most of the day and cooked lunch so that is some improvement. It's such a chore not being 100% but happens to us all I suppose.

They are Jewish and of course this is Passover so no paperwork can commence until Tuesday...so could be Wednesday? Normally they are buried the day after death...
