So it's Monday again, where does the weekend go !!!!!!!
I'm feeling a bit angst today but don't know why, could be I'm expecting some news about work to come out this week ?? Or that I'm worried about my friend ? Or that it's the anniversary of one of close friends death ? Could be all of them !
I need to add 2 chicken breasts to yesterdays menu & a cup of hot milk, I was hungry last night AND TOWIE was back Oh how I love trashy TV.
So todays menu looks a bit like this
B Muffins
L Chicken breast & SF jelly
D The rest of the tinned roe- I don't think we are allowed this but I've opened it now & there is only a bit left, will have some more chciken with it. Tofu creme.
Saw my old neighbour yesterday who started Dukan around the same time as me, she looks fab !!!!!!!!! She's dropped 2 dress sizes, dyed her hair red & had it chopped into a nice bob. I couldn't believe how skinny she looked, she said everyone keeps telling her she's lost too much weight - why do people do that ?? She's a size 14 for godsake not a size 0, she's never been a 14 in her life, I am so chuffed for her. She never thought she'd stick to it as she's not a big meat eater but she said it's completely changed her eating habits now. So another in conso

So work yesterday was a rollercoaster, you might recall I said I was trying to save 2 peoples job's last month - well it reared it's head again yesterday & if the money isn't transferred by close of play today I've got to do a selection exercise by the end of the week & they will have to be gone by the end of the month ! What a great day ! Didn't cave in to crappy food though so result ! I also have 3 people off long term sick so it's turning into a nightmare. Plans are still a foot to disband my team by the end of the year but they don't know about it yet & me knowing is awful !

Oh that is tough Jo - stay strong with your food as that will help you deal with whatever work throws at you..... Take care of yourself and let me know what you think of the salt and pepper chicken - I am gonna try that tomorrow - had to get the garlic salt in - had all the other stuff - oh and the chicken!!! Wouldn't be able to make it without the chicken - duh!!! LOL x

No news on the work front, finance are still arguing the toss & we are at stalemate.
I'm a bit constipated today so sitting waiting patiently with a mug of slimatee - hope that sorts me out !
I think I might have a go at the miracle soup now it's getting a bit chiller, savoury muffins as dumpling sound just the job !

What a day !!!!! & for once it was my own doing !!! I have a wet room with a slopping floor so the water drains away, anyway yesterday I decided to put some bicarb down the drain but only I didn't pick up the bicarb did I, I picked up caustic soda EPIC mistake !!!!!!!! The bloody stuff hardened so when i had a shower this morning the bloody water didn't drain away, thankfully I was working from home today doing some training so was able to nip to ASDA & get some drain unblocker, did it work - did it bugger ! So off again I trotted & got another make, again no difference. I then was starting to panic, googled it & there were horror stories about it being like concrete & people had, had to replace the whole "trap & pipework" because of doing the same thing. My bloody trap is in the floor & I was seriously thinking this is going to be an insurance job as the whole room is tiled ! One suggestion was to keep pouring hot water over it, so thankfully i have a carpet cleaner so was able to suck up the water so had a go at that. Nothing ! Another suggestion was to use a plunger, I don't own a plunger so off I went to B&Q. Found a plunger & there was some industrial acid drain cleaner next to it so picked that up to. It was expensive £10 !!!! So off I go starting with the plunger, an hour later no change it just wasn't budging. So i looked at the industrial thing I picked up at B&Q & looked it up on the internet. Reading about it scared me it is powerful stuff, can dissolve a human body !!!! So I'm thinking what shall i do, go for it as it is going to an insurance job anyway. So I started pouring the stuff only a small amount & straight away it bubbled up & started letting off fumes. I got scared & opened the window & left it. Went back 15mins later & nothing !!!!!! The bottle said to put 250ml down so I held my breath & covered my eyes & went for it, the bloody stuff stank & bubbled up like a experiement I used to do in science at school BUT IT WORKED !!!!!!!!!! Yay so lesson of the day read the bottle before you pour stuff down the drain or never have caustic soda in the house !!!!
So after my eventful day I did no training at all so will probably have to spend one of the days over the weekend catching up.

Lordy what a day and thank goodness your last experiment worked - I liked the salt and pepper chicken too - had it for tea!!! Defo one to add to the list! Food day looks amazing - well done for sticking with it Jo - Shame about missing the training day but at least you don't now need a new wet room! x
