I'm here !!!!!! Tried in vain to work earlier in the week but I just couldn't do it with one eye so have been off sick. My first week too !! I have told them a white lie though, didn't mention alcohol was involved - thought it may come across as unprofessional. My friends all know the truth though.
Returned back to work yesterday for a couple of hours before the headache kicked in, on a course this afternoon so I will have to now brave seeing people. I've 2 black eyes & my one eye is still very swollen
TDM is watching me like a hawk & it's now beginning to get on my nerves ! We've his daughters 21st next weekend so I'm praying I can cover what is left then with make up.
TDM has been looking after me, when I rang him from the hospital on Sunday I thought he was going to give me a bit of a hard time but he hasn't at all, too be honest it's been ME giving myself a hard time.
He's been cooking all Dukan friendly foods & is attempting a lasagne with leeks this weekend. I did say we could go out & his response was "I'm not going out with you looking like that "
Will attempt to check out your diaries over the weekend- that's if the Internet police aka TDM isn't on patrol
Pol had the pleasure of meeting him, come to think of it she met 3 of our OH's as well as us

Soooo good to hear from you Jojo, was getting worried and not surprised that the knock to your head put you 'on the sick' for a bit!!!!It did not look good.... Glad you are on the up now..... TDM is just being protective - must have given him a bit of a fright!!! Stop giving yourself a hard time - honestly these things happen!!! LOL! xxx

Well the Internet police is busy with something else so I am taking full advantage. Do you know what the bugger did he only went & switched off the router so I couldn't sneak off upstairs
The lasagne recipe didn't quite work out Sidd so I just ended up with bolognaise & veg
Course on Friday was ok, it was all women & I ended up in the pub after with some of the guys I used to work with.
We've taken the strips off my eye today & it looks loads better without them, bruising is still coming out & my one eye is still a bit swollen but all in all it's getting there. Just need it to clear up for next weekend for TDM's daughters 21st

I gasped at the cheekiness of it too LOL, but as you say its for a good reason. Fingers crossed your eye is miles better for next weekend. If its already better on one eye a week later, it should be much much better for next.

Well it's nice & sunny here in brum, hope it is where you are !
Did my good deed for the day, there's a stray cat I've seen hanging around but as my grove is a "cat" haven the cats all seem to scare it off. I managed to coax it today & give it some food. It's in a right state, it's got long fur & it's all matted & you can feel it's bones. i'm hoping he'll come back so I can try & catch him & take him somewhere to be looked after. He'd make a beautiful cat all cleaned up.
Anyway, job is going so slowly. not much occuring except reading up on stuff. There are disagreements out in India & they are refusing to sign a non disclosure so things can't move. Once they do I'll be running round like a headless chciken no doubt - best stay away from you lot I know what you are like with chickens
Dukan is going ok, managing to stay on course however I am having more PV days than PP at the moment - it's the only way I can stay on track.

Lol I deiced one night last week to wash the cushion covers as hubby was in bed i didnt Hoover lol when he walked in the living room he burst out laughing, my cushions are filled with feathers and there was tons all over the floor, I wiped my lips and said yum, yum lol we got the giggles xxx
