"Plump Polly".....golden oldie..........Newbie

Oh! forgot to say, the new saddle arrived today, so going to see if I can fit it myself tomorrow....if I can get the bolts undone that is! Wish me luck!! xx

Morning chica. Yes I do us My Fitness Pal . . . but only sort of.
I don't log my food on there but I find it useful to check things out in terms of what is lower in cals and sugars and carbs.
Helps me focus on what is better for me and lower in syns. As yes, you can do a rough translation from cals to syns.
20 cals - 1 syn

BUT . . .

If you're a member at group then you can get an online login as well and then you can do proper syn checks.
Some things will have some free food in them and therefore lower in syns.

I have a friend who's a full club member and she has an online login and she'll check things out for me.
*** whispers *** and I know her login so I can check them out myself

Yes I'm an online Member too Bev , I didn't really know how to check syns etc on there though and one of the mods on here helped me out. I can usually ask at group and someone will know, but was trying to find an M&S ready meal for a friend.
Hi Kally, nice to see you, have you climbed back on the wagon yet? Pleased to say, saddle is all fitted (thanks Bev) and SO much more comfy. Wasn't on the bike for long, only about 5 minutes because my dinner was cooking, but at least I know I can use it in comfort now. xx

Well my ticker hasn't changed yet, but got the 1.5lbs needed for my club 10, got SOTW plus my 1.5 stone award, so am chuffed. Now working towards getting out of the 14s, which hopefully by the next WI I shall do. Not going to group next week as I have a funeral..xx

Yayyyy well done on the loss and lots of lovely new stickies.
It takes about an hour for you ticker to update as images get cached on Minis.

Thank you both, so chuffed, I never believed I could stick with it, now there's just no going back xx

Well done Polly. A triple whammy

Thank you, great feeling...wish I wasn't so impatient!! lol xx

Flippin' 'eck!! who's that sexy babe pinched your avatar Kally? lolol! what a great piccy!!

A year to go...will I know all the answers by then? lolol! I doubt it xx

My daughter took my pics yesterday...only place you can see I've lost is my face!!.....perhaps in a stones time????

Now that's really weird.
It took almost 3 stone loss to show in my face and then it happened really suddenly.
You could see my waist re-appearing and my bum and legs decreasing before it affected my face.
As I said - weird!

I've lost my triple chin lolol! You can tell a bit on my rear....but not anywhere near as much as I'd like, but it's early days. None of us lose it where we want...silly bodies don't all work the same do they? I want to lose my bingo wings.....don't think there's ANY difference there at all! Will just have to carry on wearing things with sleeves in! :sigh:

Grrr just posted a reply but my internet went down for 2 minutes and I lost the post.

I think bingo wings are the last to go for "ladies of a certain age" - by that I mean over 50.
Our skin is so much less elastic that the skin just can't shrink back.
Mine are better than they were - thanks to triceps exercises - but they'll never go completely without surgery, and I ain't going down that route.

No Bev, I wouldn't either.......sleeved tops are so MUCH cheaper than surgery!! sometimes I think we worry more what others think about us than they actually do! I've had big legs all my life, and my dream for the last 50 years is to have nice ones. It ain't gonna happen. It runs in my family.....except for the boys, and my daughters are ok too, not skinny, but nice. All the exercise in the world doesn't make hardly any difference at all, and believe me I've tried everything from that to those plastic trousers that were the rage years ago! My main incentive now is to just get healthy and be more mobile................and of course, get into the huge supply of clothes I have that AREN'T size 22!!
think I could stock a small shop, because I've got everything from size 12 up........and I never throw anything decent away...but once what I'm wearing now is all too big, I'm gonna give everything to the air ambulance!!:)
