Well jumped on my own scales this morning (pre-loo:sigh:)and they showed 1lb loss, but then went to the funeral, and COMPLETELY fell off the wagon! Day started well, breakfast at 7.00am, but by 1,00PM, my stomach thought my throat had been cut, so dived in the buffet.....must be because I didn't have a proper dinner like normal, and I've ended up hungry all day! Just sat and had 4 ryvita with cream cheese (light) marmite and cucumber, but tomorrow will be straight back on plan. Would hate to end up STS next week, so going to put lots of effort in xx

Well done on your loss yesterday!

Don't worry about yesterday. As you say you have the rest if the week to be in plan so you'll be fine :)

Well I jumped on the scales this morning (unnoficial) and they showed a 1.5lb loss, so perhaps over the last week it sort of evened itself out. I put yesterday down to comfort eating :sigh:, but it's made me feel a bit better today. Thanks luvvie x

I'm turning myself into a serial weigher inner!! I've been so good with my home scales because I go on them, and then they don't match SW, so I try to avoid them. However after my bad day last week, I jumped on this morning and they showed 13st, 13.5 lbs, so if SWs show that Thursday, I will have broken the next stone barrier. Christmas will be looming pretty soon, and so wany 3 stones to be gone by then!...well don't we all? X
I can't believe I haven't posted on here for 3 days...not my thread anyway, have had so many cards to make time flies out of the window! :sigh:

Morning chica - back from flat now and posting again.
Once you start weighing daying you can get addicted to it pretty quickly.
I've weighed daily now for well over 2 years. I did it as an experiment to see if certain foods were affecting me, as someone said this was her prooblem.
Found out it was but now can't stop! But having done it for so long now it doesn't bother me when I go up and down so long as know I've had something to cause it.

Hi Bev, how's your mouth today? much better I hope.
If I was doing it at home, it wouldn't bother me, but I just wish the ones here matched the ones at SW!:sigh: My friend does it all the time, whereas I try to wait for the week. I had such a big blowout last Thursday at the funeral that I thought I'[d have a job catching bak up. Week looks as if it's going ok though.
Glad you're back x

Tooth a lot better thanks - but still very sore and will probably take another 2 or 3 days to feel anywhere near normal.

Right - what you need to do is "calibrate" your scales against the SW ones. Weight yourself immediately before you go to class and then you'll know what the exact difference is. Then when you weigh at home you can do the adjustment. SIMPLES!!!!

Good luck for WI this week - sounds as though it may not be tooooooo bad. Is it tomorrow you go to WI?

No Luvvie, Thursday. Will have a look at them to see if I can set them the same, thanks Bev.
No doubt it will take a couple of days for the ABs to kick in, then they should work quickly...I hope x

No Luvvie, Thursday. Will have a look at them to see if I can set them the same, thanks Bev
Oops - doesn't look as though I explained myself properly.
I didn't mean to actually callibrate them, what most people do is just check them against their SW WI.
Then if their scales show 3 lbs different from the SW one then they know that is the difference they have to account for on home WIs.

Well I'm glad you said that because I investigated this morning and just didn't klnow where to start...so I left them as they were. They weren't cheap, but not expensive either, it's just annoying that they can be so different sometimes. I've had 2 weeks when they've read the same...but that's all. Getting a bit nervous now, looking forward to it and dreading it at the same time.
Hope today sees a bit more improvement for you Bev xx
