Girls last Wednesday I had some pinkish blood after wiping ( sorry tmi) only a small amount but enough to make me panick and ended up going to hospital to get checked out all was fine baby's heartbeat was fine , had an internal examination and that was fine too and then no bleeding since . Had 20 week scan on Monday all fine and now today been to the toilet and again some small amount of pinky / red blood after wiping and some mild tummy cramps . I don't want to go back to hospital for them to think I am Being
Silly but should I be worried .. ?! Xxx

Firstly you're not being silly. This has not happened to me but I'd recommend ringing the hospital or your midwife and just tell them what you've said here and see what their advice would be. Definitely better to keep checking. Hope everything ok. Sure it is, but ring them and tell them that you're understandably anxious. X

Did they say what the bleeding was last time? They will never think you're being silly, it's worth giving them a ring and seeing what they say. I know this is also tmi but I had a couple of pinky/red bits on tissues early on and they said it was because I'd strained when going for a number two which had stretched my cervix and caused a mild bleed. I'd definitely give them a ring, even if it's just to set your mind at rest xx

Was it after sex at all? That's the only time it's happened to me and doc said its normal.
Maybe best to give them a call just to check if not but should be fine xx

No not after sex.. Just happened out of the blue .. Last week they said not to worry too much and that sometimes it does happen but I did the right thing getting checked out .
I guess I will ring them again and just check .. I'm not too worried as I have felt baby moving around today and the blood is pretty much the same as last time .. Have been for a wee since and only a tiny bit now.
I'm thinking maybe it's more a pinky red discharge rather than blood but it still panics you x

There's definitely no getting on knees in this house - if I'm not getting it then neither is Mr J!!!
Sarah! I'm shocked! J's lucky to get me on my knees when its working both ways. Not a chance of it happening now ha ha

Definitely either ring or go to the hospital. MW last night said any sign of red, go in! Chances are its nothing to worry about, but always best to get checked!

I had red blood the day after my 20 week scan 2 weeks ago, I was asked to go in, I was checked over and everything fine, they made me promise to call if it happened again, they will see you as many times as they need too, Sammie if your worried call the hospital, some people are just unlucky and bleed all the way through but it's always best to get checked xx

Can only agree with everyone else Sammie - get it checked out. I'm sure it's all fine but don't feel daft about it, the hospital would rather see you a million times if they have to. xxx

Right have rang midwives and they weren't exactly helpful just said its up to me if i want to go in :/
I had since been to the loo again and the blood Is more red still only a small amount but its a bit more stringy ( sorry) which is obviously a bit worrying so going to go and get it checked just to be on the safe side hopefully everything is ok!!

Urgh...do you know what....I dont understand why some midwives are so unhelpful when it comes to things like this. You have rang them for THEIR advice but they have put it back on to you to make the decision...essentially making you feel bad if it comes to nothing. Especially when it seems to be luck of the draw...I mean, most midwives are absolutely lovely and so helpful

Hun....it is DEFINITELY the correct thing to do to get it checked...good decision. If I had ANY sign of blood (no matter how much) I would be straight to hospital and would not feel AT ALL bad about it. Its your baby at the end of the day...the most precious thing on earth and so I wouldnt feel bad at all

When everything checks out ok (which Im sure it will) I would ask more questions about what could be causing the bleeding to ease your mind??

Take care xxx
