Pregnancy and Slimming World

I was the same & some weeks gaining at a silly rate & not even eating that much. Thankfully I've managed to stay the same for the past two weeks, I'm 38 weeks today & am booked in for my csection next Tuesday so am hoping to sts from now until then. x

OMG Sammie you're going to have your LO in 1 week.... How exciting... Jealous...

I'm only 4wk+3 and we've already decided on names!

Evangelie Rose for a girl and Oliver Lionel for a boy :)

We have got other names we like (Victoria instead of Rose for a middle name, Henry instead of Oliver) but those are the current faves :)

Oh Sammie... Have you any that you have in mind or just no idea??
We're still found nothing we LOVE.. or like for that matter.. but we've loadsa time to figure it out... You've 1 week

Wow, you've already decided! Lovely names. :) We have a little list that we both like but the middle name is causing a bit of a dispute. My hubby really wants his mums name as the middle name (Julie) but it doesn't sound right with the first names we like. Grrr, hopefully we will make a decision very soon! x

Thanks :)

For us, it's easy- Evangelie is my hubby's Greek Nan's name and we think its beautiful :)
Rose just goes very nicely, and Victoria is my sister in law's name.

Lionel was my late grandad and I always said my son would bear his name in some way, as we were very close.
Oliver we just like, same as Henry.

We actually wanted George but Kate and Wills ruined that one for us!!! X

I have had my girls name picked from the start as I love it. As the pregnancy has progressed it just sounds right. However I'm now unsure cause if the hype around the royal baby. Don't want there being loads of kids with the same name.
Kind if have a boys name but not overly sure anymore.

Mama-bear x
That's exactly why we have gone off the name George!

I really can't think if any other girls name I like as much though which makes me think maybe I should just carry on.

Have spent the night researching evening primrose oil. It's nothing to do with induction but to give me the best chance of a successful vba2c. I had heard alot of recommendations but wanted to research it myself. I'm already on the raspberry leaf tea so hopefully labour will be effective once it starts.

I'm 35 weeks tomorrow so getting close now.

At the end of the day, its your child, your choice.
If you like the name, then you should have it.

Oh getting close now! It seems like such a long way off for me! X

Hey hunnie.. Only passing on what I read (somewhere) but raspberry leaf tea isn't recommended anymore as yes, its said to bring on labour/contractions.. But makes contractions irregular and therefore the labour unpredictable...
I've heard evening primrose is great for helping baby out.. Kinda oils its way.. :)

I'd just go with the name.. You've had your heart set on it... Go go for it..

My cold has now turned into a chesty cough but I asked at pharmacy and there's nothing I can take for it :(

Got sent home from work to rest as I can barely speak and had a nosebleed :(

Told boss at work today and he's over the moon for me :) I've had a lot of health problems over last year and he's been fab! Why can't all bosses be like that?!

Telling my Mum tomorrow, can't wait :)

Oh no, you poor thing. I've got a nasty cold at the moment which is rubbish and I just can't seem to get rid of. Just drink lots and rest x

Hello!

Had my 21 week scan today. Was fab seeing baby bear again.

Apparently baby's brain fluid measurement was 9.3 so they want to do another scan in 3 weeks to check that it hasn't increased. Anything over 10 is higher risk of things like Down's syndrome and hydrocephalus :( Trying not to worry but difficult not to.

Baby measured consistently at 22 weeks so slightly bigger but not surprising given both bf and I are above average height and frame.

Was fab seeing baby again x

OMG what a FAB pic!!!
Fingers crossed all goes well at the next scan.. Try not to think too much into it and STAY OFF GOOGLE!!!

I've been out shopping today & brought myself a few nice things for after the baby is born, got a nice pair of winter boots, a bag, & 3 tops, the baggy style ones that will hide my post pregnancy bump! It's really cheered me up as feel so huge & frumpy at the moment!
Got my little ones a few bits too, couldn't resist! All from Primark so didn't spend a fortune! xx

Good job you're finding out so coz they have NOTHING in for neutral... :(

Sorry but I have researched this thoroughly and there have been many studies including a large Australian one that show the benefits of rlt. It makes the 2nd stage more effective. It does not bring on labour and in some countries women are encouraged to take it throughout pregnancy for the health benefits.
Epo only helps with effacement.

Sorry didn't mean to undermine you in anyway.. Just thought I'd share what I had read.. Obviously I'm not even near that stage yet so only breifly read something...
