Hope everything is fine and dandy with you all today.
Had a(nother) terrible UP day yesterday in terms of calories. Ho hum
Went to bed at 8:30 pm last night (yes, really) with my little boy and we had the most amazing sleep. Fabulous, feel like a new woman today (feel like a new body too, but that's a different story ... )!
Today I will mostly be having a CONTROLLED UP day (note to self - CONTROLLED P, try it you might like it! ) and then back on the magic down days tomorrow. Also, there will be no alcohol on my UP days as it inevitably leads to munchies ....! Ahem.
I'm loving JUDDD and I completely believe in the plan for weightloss and health benefits, but I am worried that I go binge-ing mad on my UP days so, all joking aside, I really do need to grab a hold of myself if this is going to work for me. And it is going to work for me, it really is.
The scales are staying in the loft now and not coming out until Tuesday September 18th, which will be a one-month weigh-in!! Go me!
Have a mighty fine day

I think ur plan of nkt weighing for a month is a gd one, u will see better results or sure. Im gla i weighed after 2 weeks now.
Do u write down all ur food as u go? Know its a bit of a ball ache but i find doing that and working out cals on the UD's has been vital, no way would i have done well otherwise as i am/was clueless as to what 2000 cals of food looked like. I think eventually i will stop this but whilst i now concentrate on maintaining my loss i def stil need to as not been doing this long.
Anyhoo, i think ur doing fab and u brighten my day Big hug Lady P xxx

I know what you mean about UDs and I occasionally track/log on an UD - I find it gives me some accountability and realigns my understanding of what 2300 cals of food looks like. Also, how much exercise do you do? Could you 'up' your exercise on UDs? I know Dr Johnson recommends that people exercise on UDs and by running 4x a week, my UD calorie allowance goes from 2000 to around 2600! Now, I don't always eat that - I try and stay at 2000 - but it does give me a bit more slack. Today, for example, I had too many choc biscuits but felt OK because I was able to burn off around 800 cals in exercise. I also find that exercise actually works as an appetite suppressant - when I run or cycle, it actually switches off my hunger pangs.
Keep focusing on the DDs and I'm sure the UDs will settle down - you also need to remember that even if you think you are eating too much, if you look at your consumption over 2 days, I bet it's showing a calorie deficit.

DD at home with William today. So far we've been pirates and firemen! Two cuppas down, 18 to go!
Need to work out the calories but my master plan is cauliflower soup for lunch (OR crudités with Quark) and then steamed basa fillets with a tomato and olive sauce and loads of green veg. Sugar free jelly for empty belly emergencies!
Have a great day everyone.
