P's Perseverance!

Polly P, you sound so so happy there, so glad the concert was fabulous and well done on the weight loss. You're on fire babes. x

How did the do go with no drinking?

I wish I could drive so that I could actually be useful by not drinking when out with pals. :D

Hope clean & lean is still feeling fabulous. :) when is your next Wi? Xx

Morning gals

Sorry for the radio silence, it's been a funny old week and I feel like the wind has been well and truly knocked out of my sails :(

A colleague died suddenly of a heart attack on Sunday night (aged 49, leaving a disabled son and wife just getting over breast cancer) and then I found out that my friend has run off with her best friend's husband - leaving everyone completely stunned. I kid you not when I tell you that I thought this couple had the most rock steady marriage in the history of the world. Life as we know it is so transient.

On top of that, Munch has had a viral infection for a few days, so I'be been pinned to the sofa (for what seems like forever!) just being mum. He's a bit brighter today so I've dropped him at nursery but I'm half expecting a call to pick him up again though ....

Still clean eating; feels like second nature (which is good).

Off to find my mojo again now. Sorry for whingy post :(

P x

Oh crumbs! Not wingey at all, it sounds like you have had a dreadful amount of bad/shocking news! So sorry to hear all that :(

Well done for keeping your eating clean!! I hope things improve v soon x thinking of you!!

Blimey P, don't you dare apologise for having a whinge, I think you are completely allowed, and would totally understand that you need to. What a horrid week, but well done on staying clean. xx

OMG, well done on sticking to your plan. xxx

Oh P xxx massive hugs. Its so scary the fine line between life and death. And as for your friend, Devastating xxx

Thanks girls. Kev has come down with this virus too now (first day he's called-in sick in over 7 years (except for his operation)) so I'm dusting off my Florence Nightingale outfit again!

Without tempting fate, it's clearly not females that are the 'weaker' sex .... !! ;)

P x

We KNOW we're not the weaker sex. I think you just like dressing up Pauline lol xxx have a great Clean day.xxx

Females have never been the weaker sex. We could survive as a race without them , yes we'd need to extract their erm, genetic make up to keep us going (x chromosones only!) but that's it.... But then again.... Who'd take the bin out and nip to tesco when we're out of milk and I'm in my jarmers?

Take it back. They're useful. Sometimes.

And they can carry shopping and when correctly and fully trained will not moan about it.

and that takes some training mines on a nvq level 3.................... lol;)

Err i would have to get dressed. I put the bin out every week and do all the shopping. As for carrying shopping, we just hang it on the back of the wheelchair LOL

Bahahahah! My husband is more an apprentice.

He has a few unmet learning needs which we are addressing with the use of reward charts and praise. It's a work in progress!

Nah hun it just shows I didn't train mine right LOL............rod and back come to mind from early days :D
