I managed to forget my keys today, and I had the safe key in my desk so now need to go home on my lunch and get it. 1 hour lunch and I'm needing to take over 2 hours. Yay me! Will have to work that up on Thursday night before pipe band!

We came 9th out of 26th in the grade. The prize list is the top 6, we would have been over the moon with that. But top 10 is ok.

Had a look at your youtube clip, not sure I can appreciate the sound of pipe band (not something I hear very often), but how the hell do they judge it?

For piping its mostly 3 things. How close all the bagpipes sound as 1 big bagpipes. Which is very hard to do. Another is how close everyone is playing the same thing. Lastly that the pitch is being held the same by everyone throughout the performance.

There are a lot of people who say they wouldn't be able to tell between a good pipe band and a bad pipe band. Believe me, you would!

Tea was smoked salmon, potatos and broccoli - 550. As I knew I had some spare cals going I had scotch broth first at 230. And a WW yoghurt 50

Cheers, there are much better quality recordings of the band kicking around youtube. Should actually have a better run of Saturday up sometime this weekend (I'm the band tech guy/webmaster so waiting on the DVD so I can copy it and upload it )
