Planned food

Breakfast - Green Monster Smoothie, ginger stylee (1/2 hexa)

Lunch - Chilli NotDogs (will make a quick chilli using leftover bolognaise)

Dinner - Cowboy Pie and roast broccoli

Snack - 5 x scan bran (hexb) + 6 syns of chocolate spread

Drinks so far -

2 mug green tea
3 mug black tea
1 much choc mint options (2 syns)

Breakfast - Ginger green monster 1.5 syns of skimmed milk.

Lunch - Chilli cheese notdogs (1/2 hexa)

Snack - Grapefruit

Snack - 3 x scan bran with chocolate spread (4syns)

2 x scan bran (hexb) with red onion and low fat cheddar (1/2 hexa)

Dinner - Garlic and herby chicken breast, crinkle cut chips and salad

Followed by an apple and a curly wurly (6 syns)

Drinks so far

3 mug green tea
3 mugs black tea
2 glasses NAS
1 mug choc options (2 syns)

Planned food today

Breakfast - green monster ginger smoothie

Snack - 1 x apple, 1 x pear

Lunch - poached eggs, beans, mushrooms and toms. Followed by 4 x dark rye ryvita (hexb) with 2tsp clover light. (2 syns) I just needed something to munch on :)

Snack - 1/2 a curly wurly (3 syns)

Dinner - Slow cooked chilli, lime and ginger chicken. Will serve with noodles later.

A friend came to visit today, we had done a joint order from Jlist and brought me my goodies.

Oh Purplebint... Because of you I have just spent a load of money!! I was scanning the 'whats for tea tonight' thread looking for inspiration & followed the link to your food diary as you seem to have really good ideas. And then I came across the popcorn tea discussion........ So a quick google later & I find myself ordering massive quantities of tea & flexing the credit card. Being a bit of a herbal tea junkie it was easy to find a lot to order! All your fault ;-))
 
Whoops, sorry ;)

I think it's money well spent really, when I think of all the money I wasted on crisps/chocolate/diet coke/takeaways then spending a few extra pennies on some lovely tea is a fair swap :)

Life is too short for bad tea :)

Snack - 2 x dark rye ryvita (hexb) + 1tsp clover light (1syn)

Lunch - Sausage, poached egg, beans, mushrooms and toms. (1 syn) + 1 apple

Dinner - Cauli crust pizza (hexa) with mushrooms, peppers, onions as topping + basil and garlic tomato sauce + cheese. (This recipe as a base - Cauliflower Crust Pizza | RecipeGirl.com)Will do a big salad and some crunchy wedges too.

Pud - 1 x curly wurly (6 syns) 2 x scan bran with choc spread (4 syns) - choc craving!

Drinks so far

1 mug black tea
1 mug coffee with hazelnut syrup
3 glass NAS

I love the notdogs, I need to make up some of the mix this weekend.

Tonight's tea - Caulicrust pizza with herby twice baked wedges

That pizza looks interesting. Can you taste that its cauliflower and how did you syn it?
 
I didn't syn it, just a hexa of cheese. I used a whole hexa in the base and another for the topping, as I ate half I call that one hex :)

As it was part of my main meal and with plenty of superfree, I wouldn't call that food abuse that needed synning :)

You can't taste the cauliflower, the texture is obviously different to bread dough but as I'm gluten free and can't have that anyway then this is pretty good.

You can make the base with smash/instant mash too, that works pretty well :)

Oooh no I agree with you re the food abuse-after all its just a way of using a vegetable isn't it and I suppose you could syn the cheese instead of counting it as a hex. I have to say I tried the smash base but didn't really like it-it tasted too 'smashy', but I used the ordinary one-it would've been better with the cheesey one I think. Think I'll try the cauli base-yours looked really good!!
