Ahh that's great I mostly live on super free :) I need to try celiac, art cokes as I have never tried these :)
 
1lb on for me last night, I expected a bit more of a gain with it being star week/sit on my bum all during half term week so that'll do me :)

Planned food today

Breakfast - Porridge and cherries (hexb) + 1.5 syns of kefir milk.

Lunch - Bacon, eggs, tomatoes and mushrooms.

Snack - 2 x scan bran (2) with 2tsp of chocolate spread (3.5)

Dinner - Chicken and sweet pepper curry made with the cauli curry sauce, saag aloo, brown rice.

Drinks so far

1 mug green tea
2 mugs black tea
1 pint kefir lime drink

Syns used 5.5

Exercise - maybe a walk to the shops with the sprogs.

Well done on the gain? haha If it's better than you thought it would be I guess it is well done :p
 
Every month I'm the same Ally, one big loss, one little gain, two little losses and repeat. I've tried green tea, diuretics, all sorts but nothing shifts the hormonal water retention. I've got used to it now, I'm heading in the right direction still and one week out of the month to gain isn't too bad I suppose. It balances out to an average 1.5lbs a week off which is a healthy target :)
 
Don't worry about it, i struggle so much to get the weight off cos of PCOS causing water retention, I have tried everything too. As long as it comes off eventually i don't mind. My average have dropped to just below 1lb a week, don't like it, but nothing I can do about it. All we can do is keep going :)
 
Onwards and downwards Ally, we've both done bloody well so far :)

Tonight's dinner - Chicken and sweet pepper cauli-curry, saag aloo and brown basmati rice

I get cravings for saag aloo really often so I make loads each time I do it and keep it in freezer tubs. Great for a quick lunch with a syn free bhaji or something :)
 
Planned food today

Breakfast - Green monster smoothie, tons of ginger in this one to fight off an oncoming cold. 1.5 syns of kefir milk.

Lunch - Saag aloo, brown rice and syn free lime pickle. Followed by an orange.

Snack - the sprogs had a jam sandwich and the cravings nearly felled me. So instead...4 x scan bran (hexb), 2 x tsp clover (2syns) + 2 tbsp of jam (4syns). Not great but at least I didn't tuck into the bread.

Dinner - Chilli and coriander fishcakes, chips and salad.

Drinks so far

3 mug black tea
1 mug green tea
1 can diet coke (losing my taste for these, it tasted really metallic)
1 pint kefir water.

Exercise - 1.5km walk to the shops and back with the sprogs.

Syns used - 7.5

Lunch - Notdogs, poached eggs and tinned toms.

Snack - 1 mini pack of magic stars (3.5syns)

Dinner - Mushroom chow mein, sweet chilli chicken stir fry (1 syn for agave)


Snack - 1 mini pack of magic stars (3.5syns) 2 x scan bran (2), 2 x tsp clover light(1syns) + 1 tbsp of jam (2syns)

Drinks so far

1 mug green tea
2 glasses semi skimmed kefir milk (1 x hexa)
3 mugs green tea

Exercise 1.9km puddle jumping with the sprogs.

Those fishcakes looks yummy, might have to try them.
 
I make mine really cheaply, just leftover mash/sweet potato mash or smash made up. Then I buy the cheap frozen fillets of coley from Sainsburys. I cook some in a foil parcel in the oven for 30 mins, then flake that up and add to the mash. Add an egg, some chopped chilli and coriander and seasoning. Shape into fishcakes and pop in the fridge for an hour to firm up a bit. Then either bake or 'fry' each side till golden.

Snack - 1 min pack magic stars 3.5syns (note to self, stop buying these)

Dinner - Slow cooked (veg packed) spaghetti bolognaise with a side salad and lots of cheese. (1/2 hexa)

Snack - more grapefruit with agave (1 syn)

Supper - 4 x scan bran, marmite, 4 syns of cheese

1 mug creme caramel rooibos
1 pint kefir root beer

Lunch - Notdogs, poached eggs and BNS wedges followed by chicken liver pate and microwave crisps. I had the hungries!

Snack - 2 x pack of stars (7 syns) - stop eating these, they're crap!

Dinner - Chicken curry, onion bhaji and brown rice

Drinks so far

2 mug black tea
1 pint root beer kefir
1 glasses milk kefir (1/2 hexa)
