You are very right about the kids being back at school makes life so much easier also house not full of "just have 1 and stop pestering me" treats lol. although the poor baby wonders why mummy keeps looking at her chocolate pudding very strangely!!!

Well I have made a decision this week. I am having a week off! It might be a bad decision but I am really struggling at the moment. I am off to Newcastle next week for 3 days and knowing that I am not going to WI has knocked me off track. Not been properly on track or a couple of weeks now so I just feel like I need a week to re-coup.

I'm not going to go mad, no binging or anything- just loosen up a little and less stress over everything that goes in my mouth. I feel myself getting really upset at the stupidest thing! Like I had a little few things off a buffet at work yesterday and I honestly beat myself up about it all day.! Also I have been feeling the urge to binge.

So I am going the best thing I can- giving myself a little rest and having a break. Once back from Newcastle I then have 5 weeks to completely kill it. I think having a break will give me the kick up the arse and allow me to find the passion about SW I need to get back!!

Sorry for the rant- just wanted to see what you all thought? I feel better or making the decisions, less stressed out and upset. Had a chat with my OH and he thinks its a good idea- like I say I;m not going to all off the wagon, just give myself a little rest on being quite so strict. Also hoping that then when I get back on it next week I will see a better loss.

Hope you are all keeping motivated and staying happy. I think the change in weather is having a lot to do with this, I get very cold and it makes me feel quite icky! I know that sounds weird doesn't it!

Well ladies I was at the gym for 8am again this morning :party0011: -so thats 3x90min sessions this week and Im loving it :faint2:...
Hubby goes away on Monday morning for the week -so lets see how I manage to convince myself to walk my a** to the gym early in a morning:whistle: -
Well I will get off in a moment and have my iced coffee and my crunch corner yog (the nice German ones not the sickly muller ones;))

My names Becky and I live in Gloucester, I am 21 and live with my partner and 2 daughters... Unfortunately not in school yet ;)
I joined classes on Tuesday and weighed in at a whopping 23 st 11.5 lbs :O so I have LOTS to lose. I done SW a few years ago and got on well with it, but back then I didn't have alot to lose, silly in a way now I find myself in this position.
Ok, So these past few days I have enjoyed, after being on cambridge for a few days, then atkins, its nice to eat what I want really, and there are so many yummy recipes. I'm finding myself looking forward to weigh in and planning my meals, and in a way getting excited about it all.

I go to college 3 days a week and work weekends, being at college was fine, but I think work is going to be harder for me, they all order take aways... :(
Well, I look forward to this long and successful journey with you all

Small world indeed! I thought I recognised you and your mum on your profile. Nice to see you and glad to hear it's going well this week. Are you looking forward to the belly dancing this week?:p The group may be a little small and weird but we're pretty normal really.:D

Yes it's been with SW all the way. I started the last week of February, so far so good.:)

Everyone seemed friendly, I actually enjoyed it tbh lol, Am I allowed to say that?!

I'm really enjoying it so far only done green days though, not tried a red day as of yet, and the Extra Easy days just confuse me! Oh well, I'm sure i'll get the hang of it sooon :)
 
I'm sure you will, EE does seem confusing when we're used to red/green. I do a lot of green too.

You mean you aren't coming to group with a bikini top and flowing skirt to show off properly? Damn I'll have to change my dress plans... :giggle:

Aww thats awesome news! I love SW! When I'm not following it I get a bit depressed but for some reason on SW it gives me something else to think about and makes me feel so much happier!!!!

I know what you mean, I am always planning my meals, and searching for new recipes. It helps keep my mind off nasty foods. But someone could place a big plate of crisps, chocolate and pasties in front of me and i'd happily turn it away! I do feel though, I can't be losing weight with the amount I am eating. But I will see on Tuesdays Weigh in :)

Well last night before I was starving (god knows why) i still had some milk left from my hexa. so i had a batchelors pasta n sauce macaroni cheese one for 2syns plus my hexa.

I did a sneaky weigh in yesterday and it was sts i was a little gutted but on ward and upward, but i htought sod it im starving ate it all up!

I got on the scales this morning and 4lb off! i nearly fainted! I really didnt think I would lose!

The thing with slimming world is dont think about how works just know it does!!! haha

So then, hubby went out at 8am this morning -he is on duty -so won't be home until about 10am tomorrow and then he goes away Monday morning until Friday evening, so I have planned my little socks off -and know what my meals are for the next week... I have all my fave meals lined up to keep me happy and stop "starvin marvin" from visiting ;) actually it would be "bored Maud" I will have to watch for :p

I also realised that I will have to walk there AND back when I go to the gym :eek: (apart from Monday when i can cadge a lift in when hubby goes to pick up the minibus) -so that means I will be looking at a 1hr walk there 1hr30mins in the gym and then 1hr walk back :faint2: -still it will all burn "wobble" I guess :p

Right -I had better get off -have a great day everyone and hope we are all well!!!

Well, only half a pound off for me this morning - but I think I should be grateful for a loss after the week I've had! Three meals out, the bread-day disaster and, as Bev would say, a right old vodka bath last night! :D

I have to say though that I feel like I've lost my mojo a bit...need to get it back quickly, or I'm in danger of getting nowhere near the target I set myself for my holiday at the end of October... Maybe trying to jumble it up a bit and do some red and EE days has just thrown me a little and I need to accept that Green days fit best into my lifestyle and that I'll just have to continue on the scenic route!!!

Claire, I think whatever works for you is the right thing to do! If your head is not in the right place, then take a break, enjoy your trip and come back refreshed and motivated! (Then you can share that motivation with me and we can both get back on track!)

Been missing it action, after my 1 lb loss last Monday, I went off the rails, combined with my daughter's birthday and it has all gone pear shaped this week and now I feel like: Why the hell did I do that myself? :break_diet:

I have eaten lots of sandwiches, crisps, sweets etc, and I really don't feel better about it. :cry:

So back on plan today but I can't say my heart is in it, I just want to eat the wrong things in big quantities

in the weee small hours i was on live chat with the fabulous Bev!! who told me of all you wonderful princess'!!
so i thought I'd say hi and who i am!
I'm Helen i have 3 beautiful daughters who I'm not setting a good example to.
I'm generally quite nice but very plain speaking never with the attention to offend tho!!!!
like most i have all the same hang ups....am i the biggest in the room, wanting to go to "normal" shops, chaffing thighs, bingo wings, bagel belly, kankles, bum like a disco ball, the list goes on!!! but as i just said i speaketh plainly!!...so beside fixing all of the above what i wanna do most is feel comfortable getting "personal" with the lights on again lol :eek: !!!
i work nights in an office and i swear when it quiet i can hear my arse spread!!! an
on a week end the smell of take away is enought to drive u screwy also i apologize in advance for the caffeine fueled 3am bizarre postings :D
