Anyway, I have returned.............with excess baggage no doubt  lol We shall see what the scales say tonight, but I'm anticipating 3lb at least  I ate and drank what I wanted, but I have to say I made good food choices  which is a first for me :D Alkihol is a different matter entirely :p :giggle: Had a fab time and tbh, I'm really not too bothered how much I've gained - the break has renewed my enthusiasm and I shall shift any gain quick smart! :D

No time to catch up properly atm, got to get ready for work, so I shall catch up when I get home :) BUT a quick well done to all you fabby losers, you're all doing great!

Patsy - 1.5lb gain for a weeks cruise is bloody brilliant my girl.....bet I can beat you! LOL Glad you is back in one piece and that you didn't fall overboard whilst in the throws of sea sickness :D You'll have that 1.5lb off next week - no problemo! Good luck with the new job!

Big welcomes to all the newbies (sorry can't even remember your names now...........but I'll get to know you all in no time at all :D Good luck to you all on your journey to slimsville :D I hope you all feel at home in this team - tis a good team to be in.....but then again I'm biased :D

Right got to buzz off and renovate my birds nest of a hairdo for work.

Have a good day everyone, and I shall be back later with news of my very first gain :eek::8855:

Good morning ladies,

I've had a busy week with work so havent got on here as much as I would like. I weighed in this morning & despite a few buffet style lunches (again work :( ) I have managed to lose 3lbs this week.

Well done to everyone else with their losses & hopefully will be around more often this week :D

wow pink, thats brilliant! our stats/goal are very similar (except the height lol) and I would kill for a 3lb loss when Ive had buffet temptation, well done:D

Bev i wondered where you were, sunning it up in spain, how fantastic sounds like you had a great time:).

great loss pink.well done:).

oh my goodness * week is looming and last night i just had an attack of the munchies,i was just fancing everything,i jumped in the shower quick :8855:.so far today im ok:eek: i dont want starvin marvin here!!!! lol.

hope everyone is ok.
xx

I've had that a few times this week too Surreygirl, especially when my hubby decides to have a nice big bar of chocolate. I cant have one piece of chocolate coz I'd want it all so I've been treating myself to Caburys light choc mousses to keep those chocolate cravings at bay which so far so good but I really am terrified of having 1 piece just incase

I would really love to get another 7lbs off by the end of the month now though so I've stocked up on lots of superspeed foods just to see if I can do it or not.

Good morning you lovely lot....

Well done on the losses ladies :party0011:

Tis tipping it down here *thrrrrp* -so Im going nowhere.... luckily I have enough fruit to last a couple more days so I will survive :p -

Bev- oohh get you -our own resident jetsetter :D sounds like you had a brilliant time :happy036:
Spanx -I thought the same about Pastsy OHs "jobs" too until I read it again :giggle:-not sure what opinion we must all have of patsy :rotflmao:

Im on day 2 of my "Green Week" experiment ...and "so far so good" -although I won't be counting any chickens until Sunday :p
Im going to do my meal plan for next week -Im planning a week of red and greens -so that will keep me busy for a while..
right I had better get off..... keep at it folks -we are getting there :D

hello princesses! I just wanted to swing by to brag :D I hit my club 10 AND my 2 stone awards tonight. Ruddy thrilled! :D:D:D:D:D

Evening everyone!

Well done to all losers! Great losses.

I had weigh - in tonight and lost 0.5 lbs :( I was really disappointed, and just don't understand where it is coming from! At least it is still a loss I suppose!! I am so tired, I walked 4.5 miles today around a bloomin' sculpture trail <-- really not my thing but part of a course at college, I was cursing all the way around! Which reminds me, I forgot to ask you Laura at weigh-in do you go to college I am sure I saw you this morning? (BlOoOdy gorgeous dessert you done too, nomnomnom)

Hope everyone is having a good week so far!

Evening girls,

Firstly... whats with the confusion on OH's job's? A job in his hand is better than a job in mine! Jees, I'm chasing my tail lasses so I needs any help he can give.

Bev... what you like, just upping sticks and piggin off to Spain. Glad you had a good time hun, you deserve it. Whens our next date?

Welcome to all the new galls, I hope your enjoying the team. There all nutters but I just humor them.

Another busy day for moi, but day off tomorrow. Whoop bloody whoop! Been thrown in at the deep end so landed on my feet running, but I'm sure things will settle when students are in on regular timetable.

Time for bed now, so will wish you all sweet dreams xxx

Well done Karen, I know you've been chasing that for a while. 2 stickers woohoo!

Yes Becky I'm at college now too. Sorry if I ever walk past and seem to ignore you, it will be nothing personal just me in my own little world feeling quite out of place amongst you youngsters.;) Wow a 4.5 mile walk is pretty hardcore, I wonder whether you were retaining some water tonight after that exercise, they say not to weigh after exercise so perhaps you had a false weigh in reading which will show up next week. I know I keep saying it but it has to show up sometime! Well done with the belly dancing tonight you did really well, I flaked out part way through. Glad you enjoyed the dessert.:D I can't wait to get my hands on the curry recipes I thought they were gooooorgeous (3 platefuls shows what a pig I am!)

Welcome back Bev, you must have some amusing stories to tell us about your holiday. How many vodka baths?:D

Sorry if I've missed anyone, I feel like I'm about to fall asleep at the computer. Getting up at 5am does NOT agree with me...check out the grumpy thread in off topic if you're interested in what I was doing at 5am this morning. No no naughty girls, not THAT!:p

Nn x

Morning:D.

Woo hoo karen well done hun:).

Boo Boo wow that is a lot of walking, made my legs ache:eek: im sure the scales will be kind to you next week:).

well i survived my munchie attack,i dont know where it came from,i have been fine and then all of a sudden i just fancied anything and everything!!!! sweet i know what you mean about the chocolate i havent had any since ive been on sw, i have the kellogs fibre plus bars and i find they are a nice chocky treat and even better that you can have one as a Hexb!!.

Great work Team!!! (i sound like bob the builder!!!) lol

xxxxxxx

morning girls, well afternoon actually!

ah well done karen on the stickies, you must be chuffed!

Booboo, i know its dissapointing hun but a loss is a loss so well done to you. Laura might be right about the exercise thing, apparently it can make your muscles contract and retain water so best not to weigh after weigh in? and 4.5 miles is a pretty good exercise session!

Well im off to make a hotpot for tea, havent stopped eating today but fortunately its been on plan! gonna have some cous cous with salad for lunch. and i am sooo craving salmon right now. have a great afternoon everyone xx

Well done Karen thats brilliant!!!!

Surrey I'm hooked on alpen lights & always have 2 for my HeB everyday for a fix!! I also read on here about mixing a sachet on options with fat free fromage frais which I've just tried & its scrummy:D

Good afternoon all

Well done on the losses everyone
and :happy096: Karen on getting your shiney's

So, I tootled out this morning and had a walk to get enough fruit n milk to last me until hubby gets back and we can go shopping *he is home sometime Friday evening* :0chacha:

Im on day 3 of my green experiment -and boy oh boy don't you get an awful lot to eat :faint2:.... Im thinking Green days will be good when I get back into my Gym routine next week -so Im going to do Green days on Mon/Wed/Fri... I think I will have sun/tue/thu as reds and then Saturdays will be "anything can happen days" *guess who watches the big bang theory* :giggle:

Because I was out early today I only had fruit for brekki -so I had a double portion of porridge n fruit for lunch -twas yummy and it was an easy way of using my 2heBs up :D... ooohhh and dinner is gonna be scrumdiddlyumptious ... I have chucked loads of over ripe tomatoes n baby ones in the remoska with 1/4tsp olive oil, a chopped onion and a sliced yellow pepper and lots of salt n pepper and cooked down until it has gone all thick n sticky -then I threw some slices of mushroom in. it is divine  -later Im going to cook some pasta and peas n corn and top with the sauce and 7g fresh parmesan nomnomnom

Right Im off to finish meal planning for next week -have a great day everyone :D

Help! What should I do....being so busy at the moment and a weird busy belly dancing sw class last night meant I didn't realise I'd hit my first target of 25 stone, it was a biiiiig 8 stone down target to be followed by 20 then 15 then see how I feel. Aaaaaanyway, the one food I desperately miss is pizza and smash pizzas though nice just aren't the same. I was going to have one back in July for my birthday meal as a treat but decided it was too soon so said I'd have one when I hit first target. Should I have one? Now I know that by asking the question it means I know the correct answer is no but I reeeeeeally fancy one. Am I just being stupid and will regret it so much that I spend the week fretting. Tell me how nasty they are please and how I won't enjoy it.....I need help! Perhaps only a mental health professional can help me....:D

ooh ooh -well done you :bliss:

Are you willing to make your own? if so then I can give you a recipe for the base -now its not free by any stretch of the imagination -but Bl**dy Hell its good and a lot less that shop ones... and tastier
top it with veggies, ham etc and use your healthy A or A's for the cheese topping etc and you can be on track and still have what you want ;)

ok -Im back -whether you want it or not here is the recipe ...someone might use it...

Pizza base makes 4 thin n crispy approx 8"-10"depending how crispy you like it @16syns each
  • 250ml warm water
  • 7g fresh yeast
  • 250g white bread flour 40syns
  • 130g plain flour 24 syns
  • 2 tsp salt
  1. dissolve the yeast in the warm water in a large bowl
  2. beat in half of each flour to make a batter -cover and leave to prove until light n frothy
  3. add the rest of the flour and the salt and knead until a soft dough is formed -cover and leave until doubled in size, or until you need to use it (baguette dough tastes best if given long slow proving)
  4. Cut into 4 and roll each piece out, fold into 3 -repeat with each piece twice more -then cover and leave to relax for 10 mins -
  5. the dough is then ready to use...
  6. roll to size and top ...
What I did :-
  • roasted some tomatoes down (I was too tight to waste syns)until well done n sticky -blitzed with a spoon of quark to give a creamy taste (so I needed less cheese ;)) left to cool and then spread over my base
  • topped with finely sliced onions
  • finely diced red pepper
  • Frozen mushrooms (defrosted and squeezed out)
  • defrosted sweetcorn
  • sliced ham -chopped
  • cracked black pepper
  • then I grated 20g low fat mature cheddar on (2syns)unless you have a healthy A left ;) -it doesn't sound a lot but I have a realy fine grater and it was plenty
Then you need the oven on full belt -place the pizza on the top shelf -then you need a plastic plant(about 3 sprays) spray bottle of cold water, and "mist" into the oven and close the door after about 5 mins -"mist again" then leave -it will cook fairly quickly -so keep an eye on it...if the base is done before the cheese is how you like it then you can turn the oven down a little and leave until done

*they usually take about 10-15 mins on one of those holey pizza trays*
I know it sounds a bit of a faff with the misting -but trust me it makes a difference ;)

So there you go my pizza came to 18syns -
thing is that even if you use double the amount of base and make a big ole gut buster -its still "only" 32syns for the base -and I would be suprised if you can eat a full one in one sitting (and NO that isn't a challenge :p)
I remember when I checked online the lowest pizza I saw way 10syns per 100g -for low fat n veggie....
ooohhh and the dough can be frozen in lumps so you can make more when the fancy takes you.
I packed hubby up with 2 double sized ones when he left on Monday -he likes it cold ;)

oops we were typing at the same time lol
