well i went to go for a swim, car wouldnt start

so over 2 hour wait for RAC to come out - i knew exactly what was wrong, the old style micra is renowned for not starting due to damp wiring when the weather isnt great.. and i used half a tin of wd40 on it and would it heck as like start?! No. So guy comes out 2 hours later, does everything i've done and adds a tiny bit more wd40, car starts and i get the "well you shoulda used more wd40" lecture (er, hello? people like me keep you in a job you jack*ss so don't you patronise me! I live in the middle of bloomin' nowhere.. i'd have to walk 8 miles to find somewhere to buy myself some more wd40.. dont you think i would have just bought some if i could?!
