Rainbow is leaving SW again! x

Lou, that is a great comment. I love it!

Rainbow, you're on Facebook?! How did I miss that?

Lol -you cant beat a good backhanded compliment can ya!

Yup I ma on facebook - I'll PM you my address and you can add me xxxx

Rainbow - I notice you said you do all Red days. I really struggle with Red day lunches unless I'm super organised and prepare something in advance (like stir fried veg and pork) or have leftovers from the freezers.

Yesterday I ended up eating a pack of cooked gammon and some cherries. Hardly ideal or filling!

Any ideas for lunches?

I tend to have sandwiches for my lunch - I have my wholemeal roll HEB and maybe ham and lettuce, a muller light and a pack of quavers, or an alpen light HEB, or a jacket potato HEB with beans HEB and cheese HEA. if Im at home I have something like scrambled egg, or soup HEB. So I do tend to rely on my HE's -which doesnt work for people who like to save them for their evening meals. Im quite lucky, I enjoy having the same thing repeatedly for a few weeks, then get bored and have a different same thing for days on end! So, sorry, Im not much help xxx

Well Im flexi synning today..... and yesterday! Had a yummy Indian meal last night and a scrummy (early) chinese takeaway just now.......... dunno that I feel bad bout it though - lol! x

Why should you feel bad about it? The plan would never work if we couldn't treat ourselves once in a while

Thanks Taz - you're always on hand with the right thing to say. I need to find the right balance though, initially I was waaaay too strict with myself and didnt let myself have hardly any treats and in addition I used to beat myself up when I only had small losses. Now Im swaying towards the 'well Ive done so well so far what harm can it do?!' when I know exactly what harm toooo many treats can do! x

they're great aren't they. when i 14 i was a size 12-14. my brother was in his final year of school and his mate, who i secretely fancied, said to him you're sister would be really pretty if she wasn't so fat!

...from that day on i was convinced i was waddling around like jo brand! and that just led to comfort eating.

right rainbow - that party is now over! lol

you're back on the plan til weigh-in now...no excuses! august is a mere 19 days away! ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGHHH!!!!! ...and i promise i won't cheat until weigh-in.... i bought a rhubarb crumble and tub of custard on thursday with the intention of having it after weigh-in, but we weren't hungry as we didn't have dinner until 9:30pm, so it's still in the fridge. i promise not to touch it until thursday... fingers crossed my other half will eat it all to himself tonight. I WANT THAT CRUMBLE OUT OF MY LIFE!!!

Right - ok you're on, no more cheating! Thers no 'reason' for me to cheat - Ive got no special occasions or anything! Im going out tonight, but will drink vodka and diet coke - so all will be well. Ive been shopping today AGAIN! miht try and post some photos of what Ive bought - especially the gorgeous purple top xx

need to dig out my camera x

I ordered loads of new clothes from my catalog but I ordered everything in a size 14. If it doesn't fit me now it soon will!

thats what Ive been doing Taz, most 18s are too big but 16 arent all big enough - although most of them are getting that way x

I did SW about 2 years ago, was full steam ahead and lost 3 stone in 3 months..... people started to notice and I was getting loads of compliments, I then went down the whole "I've done really well, I'll have this treat etc".... since then I've stayed the same weight (give or take 1/2 a stone) and have never been able to get in the same zone as I was in.

Let yourself have a few treats hun, but keep with it as once you fall off the wagon it's a b*tch to get back on it. (My wagon is currently 3 miles down the flipping road)...

Hope all this makes sense?? xxx

That makes perfect sense Lou. I have really struggled since I got married and I'm still not at the weight I was before

Yup it totally makes sense! I know - Ive kinda slipped off and do need to get back on, I know its no good doing it half heartedly. Been and bought a bridesmaid dress today as Im being a bridesmaid next August in Cyprus xxx

Yeah Ive been a couple of times - Im not great in heat, I go very red and sweat! its baby pink and floaty - I'll put a photo on when I get round to it xxx

my mum tried to make me walk around some ruins in paphos and i wore a hat and shades, but because the land there is dusty when i had my head down the sun was reflecting off the ground, so i gave up and sat in the car with the air con on full whilst she carried on looking around.

i like wearing skirts and dresses in the heat but my legs rub together :( ...need to buy some of the cycling short pant things!

I don't know if you can still get them but I used to use deodorant wipes (like wet wipes but with deodorant on them). I'd wipe them on my thighs on hot days when I was wearing skirts to stop the horrible red sore patches that developed from the rubbing. Gees, I can remember it now and it's just made me realise that my legs have got smaller even though I still have thunder thighs! Failing that use a roll on deodorant.
