I'm self employed and no 2 days are the same... 1 company I work for does building maintaince for people like tesco and even Ann summers! That's mostly to do with health and safety compliance. At the other end of the scale, I work with an events company that's heavily into F1 I don't tend to go to the races but recently I set up a f1 simulator in a Paris department store and have done hospitality for lotus F1 team.

Before that I had 12 years of selling expensive German cars but left to do this as I was fed up of all the hours/stress/pressure. X

Wow that sounds really exciting Will if ya ever can get F1 tickets please keep me in mind

Evening team.

Had a great day today, loads of distractions, started the day off building a bed for my girlfriends daughter, then went and did a quick job for my dads company, then got a call out to a job for another company and finally shot off to Birmingham to do the bit of shopping I promised myself. I treated myself to some diesel jeans, but my plan to buy the next size down from what I currently take was scuppered when that size ( 36) actually fitted! So I now have £120 worth of jeans that don't quite fit, and if I don't keep my focus, they never will.

Sounds like you had a good day Will...... And a good shopping spree be know time and you be in them jeans comfortably by sounds of it won't be long we spent the day at the farm then came home to bake cupcakes resisted from licking the bowl did a party tea for kids (my fav) but to be honest took the craving away and stuck to me choc mint shake x

Survived another social event this evening, a charity fundraiser for cancer research, only a band in a local club but we were invited by a guy I do a lot of work for and he's a big drinker!

I asked for a sparkling water and the guy behind the bar looked at me like I'd just asked if I could spend the evening with his wife and daughter! We settled on a soda water!

Morning Will, well done at the social event can imagine it was hard especially when everyone has pint in there hand but felt ver proud that you didn't cave I had a sip of coke zero last night as CDC says you can drink it as only contains phosphoric acid and not citric acid won't be having that again my tummy was grumbling like mad obviously the gas makes you hungry stick to me water lol x

thanks Jo, i had a good time, for the first time in ages i felt comfortable in my clothes, i have some 38' waist jeans that i wore that already are verging on too big and i wore a shirt thats reasonably fitted that i have not been able to wear for quite a while now. it felt very good i have to say. x

That's good that's the benefits in feeling good about clothes you were I noticed I had a pair of pj bottoms that were tight on me put the on last and they fit perfect we forgetting as well as those pounds we loosing inches as well won't be long and you be in those 36" jeans def a great feeling x

well looks like I've got a date to aim and be slim(ish) for, we are doing the 31 mile walk on the 23rd of june so have booked a spa weekend in bath for the following weekend.

Also we have just agreed to do an 11 mile walk across the Malvern hills for the same hospice on the 19th of may, not sure how ill cope with that on under 600kcal per day! xx
