I only did the school run haha ! Should get out on it really !
 
I do enjoy it and we have some great countryside round here. Its just making the time to go out. If I go on the bike it's 2 + hours but if I go for a run it's half an hour ish and can be done at pretty much any time.

Yeah I suppose 2 ours is a lot think I'll stick with my running :)

Just back from my bike ride, wa not quite as long as originally planned due to a late start on my buddies part m, but still managed 23 miles through the Cotswolds with some good hills included. According to my HRM I burned 1640k cal but I've not adjusted my weight on it yet so I expect the actual figure was slightly less.

I was interested to see how my body coped with that much drain given that's burned nearly 3 days worth of SS intake. But I managed very well, although given the "slight deviation from plan" that occurred in the previous 24 hours, I might have got away lightly!

I'm sure we will see the true results on Tuesday

Evening all, been a bit rubbish at posting, keeping up with how everyone is getting on over the last couple of days so gonna take a chance to catch up now....

just about got myself back on track, today has been really hard, and i still have at least another 1l of water to get through before i shut down for the night.

Weigh in tomorrow and I'm not feeling confident at all, and even tho i know exactly what will have caused a bad result i know I'm gonna beat my self up about it! So what ever the scales say, I've gotta knuckle down and get myself back in the zone!

You back at work tomorrow too? That'll help refocus you I reckon. Fingers crossed WI is ok but whatever happens I know you'll pull it back :) enjoy the rest of your water lol x
 
At the moment, I've not got any work tomorrow, but I'm planning a phone call to the tax office, cleaning the car and a trip to the gym, so should keep me out of mischief! (perhaps) xx

Good luck with your weigh-in! Jeesh with a 23 mile bike ride this weekend, I would think you've burned a bunch of calories and offset any damage done. :)

Thanks Tizzy, I'm hoping I've done at least 2 despite my little deviation, but reckon its kicked my goal of 2 stone in 5 weeks into touch, still this is a marathon, not a sprint.

You got that right! And some days it feels like a really, really looonng marathon; some days it feels great. Keep us posted! If I were to bet, I'd bet you do more than 2lb.
 
Thanks Jo and tizzy, ended up working today, currently sat eating a mint choc bar, looking at Caerphilly castle! Hopefully back in plenty of time to make weigh in although I'm not sure I share your confidence tizzy. Xxx
