Day 381 - Wednesday 24th June 2020
Managed a good night sleep after making myself really tired yesterday. I feel really refreshed now and rearing to go.
Today, I want to drink as much as possible as I felt very dehydrated Yesterday. My own fault for not taking any water with me when I went for a walk - I did not realise it was that warm. i will go for a walk when it cools down in the evening after work.
B - Fruit platter with cottage cheese sprinkled with seeds (melon, peach, strawberries, cherries). too hot to eat anything else

F - 2 black coffee, 2 herbal tea
E -
A good sleep does wonders as does a walk when its cooler! It's gone back to being so clammy again

Hope you get some ideas from my diary.
Winter time, I am better with cooked stuff but summer, I eat a lot of salads and fruits. Sometimes, I really have to push myself to cook a decent mealm than just a salad.
I went out around 7.30-8 this evening but was too warm still and did not manage to walk much. It is just getting cooler.

Day 786 - Thursday 25th June 2020
Not happy as I have put on 2 lbs. How I don't know. Yes I had a day off as I always do but did not have anything that would give me that mch weight gain. Oh well, I have to keep a closer eye on my eating this week.
B - Melon, 2 x Homous & cheese sandwich
L/D - Roast chicken (without skin) & cherry tomatoes
S - Melon, apricots, mini nectarines
F - 2 black tea, 3L water, 1.5L home made squash
E -7,400 steps
Did not want to eat as it was too hot but enjoyed a whole melon and cooled me down a bit.

Day 787 - Friday 26th June 2020
Thinking of lowering my target to 10st 7lbs for an event but worried that I might look gaunt & saggy. Going to think about in the next couple of days and decide what to do.
B - coco pops with banana & milk
L - Pink eggs & Homous salad (leaves, coriander, cue tom, carrot, pepper, beetroot). Really enjoyed it
D - sushi, mashed poatatoes
S - Melon, cherry tomatoes
F - 2 black coffee, 1.5 L water, 1 L home made squash
E - 14,000 steps
Today is much cooler than yesterday still warm 25. Yesterday was 32 and unbearable. I never could take the heat.
Went out for a long walk with a friend I had not seen since the lockdown. Although pedometer say 10,000 steps we both recon it was more than that. I went out again for a walk in the evening.

I always feel the same if I'm too close to "ideal" weight, i think i look too gaunt. You could always stop if you feel yourself losing too much.

It finally thundered here tonight and it feels so much better!

Very true. Think I go & lower my goal and then see what happens. It may not be possible to lose 10lbs in a months anyway.
It has been much cooler & more comfortable here today . I went out for a walk 3 times.
 
Day 788 - Saturday 27th June 2020

Ok, I lowered my target to see how I will get on. Also I am going to change my food a bit as I think my body is used to the types of food I eat - hard but I am going to make an effort.

Today, I spent some time to research & calculate how many calories I need to lose weight. Although I am not keen on calorie counting but I am going to try it out along the same plan that I have been doing. 1,100 average daily calorie intake.
B/L - Tomato, chili, mushroom & onion pate with an egg on WM toast garnished with dill and bacon, tbs olive oil (750).
This worked out to be higher than expected because I had end slice of bread and more bacon - end date
D - Chicken salad (leaves, peashoots, coriander, carrot, tom, cue, pepper, lemon juice) (150)
S - Melon (280), boiled sweet (20)
F - 4 black tea, 2 herbal tea
E - 4,600 steps . Managed to walk between rain showers
Total Calories =1,200

My menu was not that good today as I was out all day and by the time I got in was too late to cook.
B - Cottage cheese & fruit platter sprinkled with seeds (cherries, peach & pear) - 300
L - Prawn layered salad (330). This was a lowest I could find.
D - Sundried tomato ciabatta filled with homous and salad (leaves, coriander, pepper, cue, tom) - 380
S - 45gr Lemon tart (140)
F - 2 black tea
E - 2,000 steps
Total Calories =1,220

It is hungry day but thoroughly enjoyed my food.

I’ve actually thought about changing to calorie counting for a couple of weeks for a change, must be something in the air!
