Running with Scissors - one day at a time.

Congrats on your loss. Fab fab news. you are doing really well. bet you feel really motivated too. x
:)

Thank you, I do feel motivated but just need to break the habit of weighing every day! A loss or gain in a day doesn't affect my eating but it does effect my mood!

I must admit I have been guilty of daily weigh ins, more so when I have struggling to keep to plan - but admittedly that was when I was following weight watchers. Not done it since SW and it is coming off slower. Just need to programme my brain that slower is better.

Hmm, it's so difficult. I've stuck to plan 100% since I started (admittedly only 9 days ago) but I don't have the confidence in the diet yet to trust it. Hopefully that will come over time.. Last week, I put on a pound after 2 days on the diet, then dropped 3lbs overnight on saturday, so I know it bears no relation. I just can't stop. :(

Well done on your loss, that is fab! I know the feeling about weighing everyday, I am thinking of perhaps posting in my diary when I don't and maybe I will keep to it.

Good idea... I'm thinking from my next weigh in on wednesday (if I have a loss) I will try and only weigh every other day for the week, then keep increasing the days apart until I only weigh on the proper day. There's no chance in hell that I'm ever going to my meeting without having a general idea first! :faint2:

Gosh, Sunday already. My partner stays the weekend so I can't really come on here much during that time.

Sunday 27th May

Breakfast:

Okay, so I woke up at 8am and made my daughter fried eggs on toast then went back to bed so breakfast was
35g all bran with skimmed milk AT 1PM!

Banana at 4pm

Proper meal wasn't until 6:30 which was:
Jacket potato
salad (lettuce, cucumber, tomato, radish and spring onions)
3 slices of weightwatchers ham
Müllerlight yogurt.

And that's it so far today, will probably have some sun bites later on and maybe something else, I dunno. I still have all my syns to dip into.

Oh oh, I also did 5 minutes on the cross trainer LOL I know that sounds like nothing, and isn't much at all, but for me it was great! It means I got the machine out and got on it and broke the habit of NOT doing it. Going to add one minute per day and do it twice a day to work myself up to it.

x

Well done on your weight loss. My husband always gets frying pan hot then sprays well with fry light, cracks eggs and covers pan with lid. Obviously he keeps an eye on it but I have to say that they are the best fried eggs I have ever tasted. Good luck with the rest of your week.

Thank you Jane! I'm so bad at fry lighting eggs! I've tried other methods but I'll definitely try the hot pan and lid tip next! :)

Hey! Well done for going on the cross trainer, I haven't got as far as digging ours out yet but I did go swimming yesterday and walking today :whacky068: Did you have a good weekend? x

Hi Katie, good but quiet weekend, ended up not doing anything.. :)

Monday 28th May
Breakfast.

Omelette made with ALL my HEA allowance LOL 45g reduced fat cheese, mountain of mushrooms and one slice of 'eat smart' ham.
Was absolutely lush. Unfortunately I now have to have all my coffees black. *sigh*

Was totally worth it though.

Lunch:
Okay, weird one. I decided to have a bowl of veggies (spinach, green beans, broccoli, cauliflower and broad beans) with a creamy cheese mugshot poured on top LOL
It's alright!

pasta copy.jpg Click to enlarge

Dinner:
Big plate of veggies again (same as lunch) with grilled turkey
2 satsumas
1 bag of sun bites

Total syns: 10

And I forgot to have my HEB

Well, that trojan warning was scary! LOL back here now to update today so far (so I don't forget)

Tuesday 29th May
Breakfast:

2 whole meal toast from small loaf
10g butter
Marmite
No superfree, I still don't get it when you have this kind of breakfast

Lunch
Pollock (steamed)
mixed vegetables
jacket potato

müllerlight yogurt
Kiwi fruit
peach
grapes
2 x satsumas

I had my weight down to 222.8 on sunday, started exercising on monday and now it's at 224, which is the same as my weigh-in last wednesday. :sigh: I know, looking through my diary that it's not 'real' weight but possibly water. I should prepare myself for a bad WI tomorrow and just hope it improves over the next week.
I've also been looking into the health (and bowel!) benefits of having hot water with lemon as my drinks. It certainly can't hurt and I've heard it's good for weight loss so it's worth a try!

Dinner:
3 slices of 'eat smart' ham
salad (lettuce, tomato, beetroot, celery, carrot and Kraft light french dressing)
Müllerlight yogurt

Yeah I thought our support network was gonna be ripped from our hands
:( Apparently it's the second time that's happened now

I find it hard to have superfree's in the morning too. I just try and have a bit of fruit but I don't really like fruit first thing.

You're getting creative, the veggies with mugshot looks good and super healthy
:D xx

Only lost half a pound. :( A bit gutted as I've a lot to lose, it's only my second week and I've stuck to the plan all week.

Also my consultant said it wouldn't be anything to do with introducing exercise.... I'm not convinced about that...

Still, I've managed to break the dreaded 16's and am now officially in the 15's, so that's great!

yay for the 15's. I will get there too hopefully! It could be water with all the heat, you might get a mega loss next week to make up for it :)
