I'm so sorry to hear that. My uncle has a cancerous brain tumour ATM and it's terminal he is in a hospice and cries alot as he knows he is going to die. It's so hard.
But all you can do is be there for them and support them. Hopefully your gran will get better! I suppose it's the word cancer that scares everyone so much as there is so
Much stigma attached to it. She is in the best possible care and the cancer doctors are so much help, if you need help with coping with cancer in the family there is help with Macmillan cancer etc online!

My gran has been left not knowing what's going on for 3 weeks now and its ruining her mental health. To top it all off my aunt yvonne (fu**ing super bi***) is coming up tomorrow from torquay for my cousins graduation on Tuesday in Liverpool. She's not coming up for my gran she's just 'passing through' on her way to Liverpool and it will be a 'fleeting visit'. I could smack her around the head, she won't come back up north after this weekend and she doesn't work so she has plenty of time!
She has already accused my mum of not doing enough. My mum has visited 4 times at least every week, got palliative care provisions in place and everything! How dare she!!!

Ohhhh your poor gran Ruth ... sometimes people say things in an act of frustration that they really dont mean ... its such a hard time for you all and i bet your gran feels like shes let everyone down ... as for your aunt ... oh my days ... thats guilt when they accuse others of stuff ..... she knows full well the support you all give your gran, so to avoid her feelin bad .. she tries to make other feel bad ... you and your gran knows the truth .... sending hugs and loves xxxxxxxx
