Here's a pic. Bit of an odd combo I know and unfortunately i took a bite before taking the pic! Tartare sauce was mainly superfree so hopefully I got enough

Sorry ladies, I was fast asleep by 9.15 last night (although to be honest that's not particularly unusual for me). I'm feeling shattered this morning so much so that I was dozing on hubby's shoulder on the train this morning which I never do!

Oh well better wake up as I've got a busy day ahead! I work in the railway industry and currently we're planning what the rail service will look like in 30 yrs time, so I need to be wide awake!

Fishy day #3

Wednesday 12th March - EE

Breakfast: FF yog and banana

Lunch: leftover Prawn curry & rice - 3.5syns

Dinner: Sea bass with roasted new potatoes and salad and HM tartare sauce (1 syn)

Snacks etc: Milk in coffees (half HEXA), apple, ryvitas and light cheese triangles (HEXB & half HEXA)

Total syns: 4.5

Surprisingly enough I'm not craving meat yet which I thought I would be, especially after getting hubby some pepperamis in sainsburys tonight! But I'm really enjoying it, just hope it shows on the scales. I would love at least 2lbs - would give
Me that pesky half stone award as well as taking me into the 14's. Here's hoping!

Watching life of pi tonight, I'm really enjoying it which has surprised me, I thought it was a bit over-hyped
 
Morning all. I will be pretty absent today I'm afraid as I'm going to Milton Keynes for a meeting.
But I'm prepared with a packed lunch (and breakfast) so hopefully won't be tempted by the train trolley or the station shops...

Well I managed to resist a bacon roll while buying my skinny americano, they smelt amazing! Slightly disturbed by the guys drinking beer sat behind me on the train at this time in the morning, they're off to Cheltenham for the races I think but still, it's not even 8am!
 
Just waiting for my train home, sat in the sun at Milton Keynes station. It's lovely to enjoy a bit of sun.
I was a very good girl earlier, I was starving when I got to Birmingham to change trains so I popped into M&S and treated myself to a small prawn sushi and a pack of mango! I'm going to say 2 syns for the sushi just for a bit of mayo, dressing etc.
it was lovely but I'm imagining I got some funny looks eating sushi at 10am!
I'll enjoy the mango on the train home.

Well I've caved tonight and gone for a takeaway but it's not all bad...

Here are today's nibbles:

Thursday 13th March - EE

breakfast: FF yog and banana

Lunch: salmon and new potato salad with EL mayo (1 syn)

Dinner: prawn noodles with veg and Saigon sauce - I have asked for minimal oil but will use my HEXB for oil just in case and count 5 syns for the sauce

Snacks: Apple, sushi (2 syns), mango, diet crisps (4.5syns)

Total syns: 12.5
 
I don't see it as a bad thing - it's a noodle bar and they put in whatever you want. The sauce I picked was Saigon - garlic and black pepper so that's good, and it wasn't greasy at all so my HEXB which I'd saved would easily have covered the oil. To be fair I don't think it was much naughtier than a stir fry I'd do at home so I was quite pleased! And I stuck to my fishy week, yay!
