Ooh that is exciting, start of the holiday!
I'm shattered (again) tonight, so we're watching a programme which was on C4 about how astronauts live.
You have reminded me I need to pay off the rest of our May caravan holiday so I'd better get on and do that now!x
 
Phew holiday is paid now, good as it was a couple of weeks overdue!
We've got chocolat on now (torture as I've given up chocolate for lent!) but a fab film and a fab book too.

Now to try and keep myself awake until at least 9...
 
Yes you did remind me! I lost my bank card on the weekend (which I later found of course!) and didn't get the replacement until yesterday evening so hadn't had chance. I was most annoyed to find heir phone lines were closed though as I did quite fancy enquiring about an upgrade... Oh well I'll ring them tomorrow x

I had a meeting booked with a manager of a local autism charity which we are considering supporting as a company, and it was in a coffee shop of a garden centre.

So I thought, that's fine I can resist the cakes...

So anyway the lady arrived and went off to get coffee (mine-filter coffee with milk) and comes back with 2 big rocky road slices.
And because she'd just bought them, it was the first time I'd met her and we were about to have a meeting, I didn't have the heart to say no.

So not only have I cheated majorly, I've also broken lent by eating chocolate.

My damage limitation strategy is not to eat anything else until dinner. I'd only eaten a banana in the morning so said rocky road constituted lunch, half of breakfast, any snacks and I'll also not use my HEXB on oil tonight which I was planning to do, and hopefully that will limit the damage pre-weigh day :(

It was gorgeous to be fair, but you know when you're put in a situation where you're not in control of what you can eat, and it would seem really rude to say no. Why oh why did it have to be the day before weigh in though!

Friday 14th March - EE

Breakfast: banana

Lunch: Rocky Road (syns: about a gazillion!)

Dinner: Mixed seafood spaghetti with a tomato, mushroom, chilli and garlic sauce, parmesan (half HEXA)

Snacks: Milk in coffees (half HEXA)
 
Hi everyone,

Well good news is I managed to lose 2lbs this week which I'm really pleased with, especially after our Friday night away and the rocky road incident yesterday.

I have had a bit of a treat day today...

Breakfast was a bacon (oh how I missed you on my fishy week£ sandwich on my HEXB WM

Then we did our weekly Aldi shop then I made lunch to take round my sister-in-laws - macaroni cheese made with low fat spread, skimmed milk and RF cheddar so not too bad. It we did have garlic slices with it.

I had to make something to suit 4 adults and 2 toddlers and all the a adult plates were clear so I'd say that was an achievement. The girls did eat some just not all but what can you expect age 2&3.
But we ate al fresco which was wonderful - felt,like the peak of summer!

Dinner was my treat night - we had a takeaway so I had a gorgeous chicken shish kebab with Loadsa salad and pitta with a few fries. Yum!

Sorry I've been a bit absent, busy busy!

Yesterday little miss decided pre-5am was a good time to get up so I was a bit of a zombie all day, we still managed to pop to the Brecon Beacons for a couple of hours for a walk around a forest trail, with playground and a picnic. I was so shattered I was in bed at 8.15! Food was pretty good, a bit lacking on super free but syn free meals, except got a but of a naughty syrup sponge pud for dessert!

Today has been much better. I had a meeting in Shrewsbury so went prepared:

Breakfast: bacon sandwich on WM bread and brown sauce (HEXB & 1 syn)

Lunch: ham and new pot salad with EL mayo - 1 syn

Dinner: Aldi risotto mix with added leek, asparagus, ham and cheese (4.5 syns & half HEXA)

Snacks: banana, apple, milk in coffees (half HEXA)

Total syns: 6.5
