Hehe yeah it was lovely! Had dinner at my Mum's last night and she sent me home with leftovers :8855: really filled me up nicely and warmed me up, it was freezing this morning!

How are you today?xxxxxx

I am fine sweetie just a bit tired this week.

Even better if someone else cooked it :D

wish one of my lot would cook occassionally

I actually have the heating on today which is unheard of but fed up of being cold and my office is freezing waiting for it to warm up so I can work Lol xxxxxxxxx

We don't normally use the heatingin our flat, but if this is a sign of things to come I think we might have to! It's impossibe to work when you're freezing so I don't blame you!

I always go to my Mum's for dinner on a Wednesday, and I love that day where I don't have to cook! :D I think my Mum tried to make a rule where my brother and sister have to cook a meal a week each (they both still live at home) but it didn't last long! I used to cook my own dinner when I lived there because I didn't want to eat with everyone else!xxxxx

its funny really isn't it? I always had to cook from a very very young age. Yet one of my sisters is like my Mum and still can't really cook, the other one can though. My Dad did alot of the cooking too when we were little so I learnt from him and my Nanna when I stayed with her as I Loved helping her in the kitchen as she cooked amazing meals. Always simple food but omg delicious. My two lads can cook a weeny bit. Every now and again Chris will ask me to teach him to cook something so I do, but its short lived

Its lovely to have someone cook a meal for you though isn't it? I rarely get that pleasure unless its beans on toast :giggle:
reckon you will need the heating this winter its really cold isn't it? Yet out in the sun taking Carla it was lovely :D xxxxxxxxxxxx

My brother knows probably 2 recipes, and will cook very rarely and only if he has to. He thinks he's hard done by if he has to put a pizza in the oven himself!! My sister can cook, and she does every now and again if she feels like it, but most of the time she's happy to let my Mum do everything for her. She did make veggie lasagne one day when I was going over and it was fab!

Well, following my post on Tuesday about my best friend and my cousin having problems, he text me earlier this evening to say she met him earlier and it's all over, there is no hope of them getting back together. He's in such a state!

I met him last night and he was in bad enough shape then when he still had a bit of hope left that it might work out! I offered to go over so he's not on his own (he's staying at his parents, his mum's at work and his dad is about as much use as a chocolate teapot!) but he told me not to. He hadn't told his dad what had happened today and didn't want to, and me turning up would've looked odd and needed an explanation.

Add that to the fact that my car has been in the garage today and is costing me £150, and I didn't get there in time to pick it up this evening so had to cancel going to the cinema and you've got my less than brilliant day!

I'm currently trying very hard to resist the urge to scoff the big bar of dairy milk that's in my cupboard left over from making my flatmate's cake.

Thanks Jackie, it just really isn't good between them, and it's such a shame, they were that perfect couple that you expect to last forever. They only got married in May.

Yes I did. The boy came over and he was actually really good. Lots of cuddles and playing computer games to cheer me up, and he let me just talk about everything :)

I've decided to give myself a day of just eating what I want today. I feel like I need a bit of a blowout, and if I leave it too long I'll go mad and eat everything I can get my hands on! Not going too mad, just having what I fancy today and then will have a few less syns for the rest of the week and hope for the best! xxxxxx

I've just got in from work, my feet are killing me! I was on them from 6.30 yesterday morning until 9ish when I got home from my 13hr shift last night, then was on an early this morning. I'm actually quite enjoying this new ward, but not used to shifts yet! I have 2 days off now, then back in Friday and Saturday.

It's taster night at group tomorrow, and the theme is 'winter warmers'. I'm making a batch of curried parsnip soup, which I'm just about to do as I'm out all day tomorrow. Bit nervous about WI after having Sunday off, although just worked out my weekly syns and I'm just under. I suppose it depends what I eat tonight. All I'm hoping for is to lose half a pound and get my club 10.

It is a bit tough, I've sort of been a shoulder for both of them to cry on. She's my best friend, and all her family are in Macclesfield so she doesn't have anyone else down here she feels like she can talk to, and he and I are very similar, so he's been talking to me as well. He said to me the other day that he can't talk to his friends about relationship things, and the only people he can talk to are his mum and me. From the outside the issue between them is so simple, and if they could just get through the communication barrier that's built up it would be fine, but she's so exhausted now she's gone past the point where she can even think about it and has told him there is no chance of them sorting things out, even slowly.

I'm scared about weigh-in! I had a sneaky peak when I got in yesterday and it's terrified me! I got on the scales and they said I'd gained 4lb! Took everything out of my pockets and weighed again and they went up another pound!!!:eek::eek: In my head, I know that's ridiculous, I can't have gained that much just from one day off plan surely?!? I wasn't even that bad really. And it's impossible to put on weight by taking things out of your pockets right? Scary!!

I really want to have lost half a pound and get my club 10, and I really don't want to have gained more than half a pound, or 'll have to take my 1.5st shiny down :( xx

Well, I put on 1lb. I guess that's the way it goes! Not in the best mood anyway today, but will be back on track tomorrow.
