So can you still exchange and then put completion back a week or is exchange by much delayed too?! Does that mean you're completing on valentines now?? Date night surrounded by boxes in your new home with candles, a take away and a make shift table and chairs could be quite romantic really?!! :) trying to see the positive! Am sure your mum is providing much needed mumliness! Xx

Love your silver lining, gorgeous. And thank you all for putting up with my grumbling again.

I think we are trying to exchange tomorrow or Wednesday. 10th seems to be the completion date of choice now, although a Monday is a rubbish day to move! As long as we do though, I don't care!! Not getting my hopes up again now, will just see what happens tomorrow!

Came home and did a load of housework and 3 tubs of washing. Pitta pizza for tea, so not too naughty but that won't make up for the French fancies or cookie I had earlier. The treats did stop me committing murder though! Lol. Xx
 
What a nightmare with them messing you around! So inconsiderate! :( Really hope you do exchange tomorrow & get a firm completion date. Can't imagine how stressful & frustrating it must be. But as Ging says, hopefully you'll be able to enjoy a nice romantic valentines in the new house ;)

You guys are all so awesome - thank you so much. Still not exchanged yet, but getting closer and hopeful it will happen today. Going to take a risk and put a deposit on the removers for Monday 10th Feb because they are all getting super booked up that week for some reason. Food hasn't been great and I know I need to stop comfort eating, but it's been such a tough few weeks, I can't seem to help it. I know as soon as we move I will be back in the game, but I don't want to go too far backwards in the meantime! xx

Don't even worry honey! You could do so much more damage with all this on your plate but you're being aware of any naughties which is def going to help keep you on track. Fingers crossed for you! xx

Sorry to hear about your exchange delay..some people are stuck in their own wee bubble and don't realise how their selfishness affects others. You'll get there.

French Fancies used to be a favourite of my mums, I always smile cos they remind me of her....I'm trying hard to stay away from all things Mini Egg related!

Aww Tash, you're so lovely. You're managing to stay on plan despite all the stress about poor Simon so I've got no excuse xx
 
Well I've just had a call to say the contracts are working their way up the chain. They are halfway now so they need to get to the top, then come back down again by 3.30pm today. It's going to be a tense wait! Our lovely removals company have agreed to hold the date for us until 3.30pm without a non-refundable deposit, which is brilliant. Let's hope today might be a good day! xxx

We've done it! We've finally exchanged! I'm so relieved and happy I could almost cry. We've got the removals company we wanted too, so it's all good in the hood. Only 12 more sleeps! xx
 
Yay!!!! I hated waiting to exchange when I moved the first time, second time it was a month before so it was ok but I was always convinced it was going to go horribly wrong! Much cause for celebration! xx
