Sarah's Target & 10K Mission

Hello lovelies!

I'm just about starting to recover after our housewarming on Saturday night - we were all pretty broken yesterday!

I did intend to be back on plan today but my lovely mum came over last night and brought us steak and 'gorgeous chips' from McCain (which apparently really do live up to their name!) to have for dinner tonight. I've also got some leftover Tesco Finest Moroccan couscous for lunch which is probably a bit more synful than I'd like. On the plus side, I've got a Muller Light for my breakfast and have already drunk a pint of water, so maybe these are my first baby steps back to it!!

Hope you all had super weekends and I promise to be back properly soon.

Hi lovely

I assume it was a great house warming then? ;) hehe

Aw that's so sweet of your mum :) it doesn't really sound overly naughty so you enjoy it!

And any good actions are better than none so well done :)

xxxx

Awww how was your housewarming? That was quick - no hanging about for you Sarah!!

Your house looks so beautiful... I absolutely LOVE your beautiful dressing table with all your lovely girly things... jealous doesn't begin to cover it!!

You'll have to let me know what the chips are like... if they really are as "gorgeous" as their name indicates, I might have to try and syn a cheeky few.

Hope it isn't a two day hangover and you're feeling back to normal today... enjoy your steak and chips :) xx

Hey hottie!! I saw the fb pics of your party...looks like that house is well and truly 'warmed' :)
What a cutie your mum is! Steak sounds yum!

I reckon baby steps to getting back on plan are better than none at all (that's what I'm telling myself anyway!)

The housewarming was amazing - we are so lucky to have such amazing friends. We had a totally full house but people didn't feel too packed in - it's a great party space and I'm so happy! We were totally overwhelmed by all the neighbours that came over too - we have moved into such a lovely little close.

We popped notes through people's doors on Friday to explain that we were having a bit of a get-together and to apologise in advance for all the parked cars and four of them came over to say we could use their driveways, which was really sweet. We had people popping in from lunchtime bringing us cards and flowers and wine, and giving us the life histories of all the people who've ever lived in our house! I think the average age of the close is about 75, but they were all ever so sweet and think they really liked the fact we took the time to send a little card to say hi.

It's really nice to know there are lots of people we can turn to if we ever need anything and that they will keep an eye on the place while we're out at work. After what happened in the last house, with the fire and the burglary, that's a really nice feeling.

It was a 4am finish after the party and it took quite a lot of yesterday morning to clear up - including steam cleaning the floors, which were a bit sticky from people being a bit eager shaking cocktails! hehe. Then I cooked a big fry-up for us and some friends who stayed over - it was so lovely enjoying it in the conservatory - it was almost like getting a bit of fresh air, which was much needed!!

We spent most of the afternoon being horizontal watching Breaking Bad - I think we only have about 10 more episodes left of Season 5. Part of me doesn't want it to end, although I am really looking forward to watching House of Cards, which is next on our list! We adored the first season and the second one is now on Netflix. Whoop!

Thank you for all your lovely comments about the house. I really do feel like a very lucky girl indeed.

Sounds like you had a great housewarming! Lovely to hear how happy you are in your new house! xxxx

Thanks lovelies!

I'm starting to annoy myself for making excuses not to get back on plan - the weeks are slipping away, I haven't been on the scales for ages and it won't be good news when I do because too many biscuits and too much wine have been consistently consumed. Part of me thinks that actually, we are allowed a bit of time just to enjoy our new house. But the other part of me knows I won't be happy until I'm back to 10.0 and don't feel so much like a whale!! Grr. Anyway...rant over!

Have ordered a big Ocado shop to come tomorrow packed with veggies and Muller Lights etc. so hopfeully that will help!

Awww Sarah, I think as long as your clothes are still fitting and you're still feeling good about yourself and not sluggish etc. then there isn't a huge rush. It's just a number on the scales after all.

Can you find a way to make the plan work so that you're still enjoying your new house? What is it you'll miss the most if you go back on plan? Maybe we can help you think of a way to work it in/alternatives! xx

Hey lovely have to dash off to work, but just wanted to say that when I was really struggling I started with green days as I find them the easiest to do but the least effective so I don't do them usually but they really helped me get back in the swing of things. And it has worked after having a rubbish December and January my C texted me this morning to say I am slimmer of the month for fab, am so happy and so glad I got back to it, have lost 6.5lbs this month to get that, never had it before so v chuffed.

You will get back on plan chick you just need to do the planning you are so good at when you are in the zone!!

Hey lovely. When you need to get back on it you will. I'm sure that you're still a lovely weight and tbh as long as you feel good in your own skin. You are super happy ATM and that's the most important thing xxxx.

Oh and as Tasha said, you won't realise it but you will still be eating a hell of a lot healthier than before SW xxxx

Hey lovelies,

Thank you for your lovely words of advice. Not feeling great this morning (just a bit dizzy) so threw myself in the shower and got ready for work without even thinking about getting on the scales - what a dimwit!

Trying my first on-plan day today!

B - Muller Light and a banana
L - risotto (HEXA parmesan and 2 syns oilve oil)
D - TBC but possibly chilli on a jacket potato with salad (2 syns creme fraiche)

There are definitely too many naughties still in the house at the moment. I'm trying to feed them to Dave so I'm not tempted! There's still some home made cheesecake from Saturday night and some red wine too. It sounds daft but I might just eat it tonight so then at least it's gone!!

Hope everyone had fab weekends!

xx

It doesn't sound daft - it is exactly what I think may of us would do! I would! Hehe :)

Food sounds yummy especially that risotto!

Good luck today I'm sure that you can do it; after all you have done it before
