Sarah's Target & 10K Mission

Nails look lovely, I've had to cut mine down after having the gellish took off before Xmas, and they are a bit soft do am putting OPI strengthen on every week and painting them myself a few times. X

Morning beauts! Just back from a 4k run - felt great in the sunshine. Did get a stitch at the end and have no idea why! A slightly hungover Dave is out on his bike so I'm having a quick Hoover and sort out before he gets back. Looking forward to our cinema and nandos date day this afternoon!

Plan is EE today:
Brunch - bacon in hexb WM pitta (2 syns ketchup)
Dinner - nandos butterfly chicken (no skin) with spicy rice, corn and hexa halloumi (6 syns max)

Hope everyone has a gorgeous sunny Sunday planned xxxx

Well done hunny! That's fab!! 10k will be no bother to you at all!

I've found it really useful to keep a wee note on my plans when I've had something happen on a run e.g a stitch, what I ate before I ran, how long before and anything different I did so you can pick up patterns. I'm doing it properly now with my diary/training log and wish I'd done it from the beginning!

Brekkie and nandos on plan and the film was brill! Just watching Whitechapel with the boy and had three rich teas with a cuppa.

Got meetings tomo but wfh in the afternoon so planning a fast day. Then in London on Tuesday followed by trying out another ballroom class with mum (not keen on the teacher at the first one), then new boiler being fitted on Wednesday. Have a feeling this week is going to fly by!xxx

Morning my little lovelies!

Can't believe it's Monday again - boo!! At least this is my last 5-day week for a couple of weeks as we are off to Bruges next Friday. Whoop! As I said above, this week is gonna fly by...also means I have to be super organised to stay on-plan. I'm totally focused on my end goal right now though, so there will be NO deviation from plan until Bruges.

Pleased to report a 2lb loss this week and I'm finally back in the 10s! Really pleased with that result given that I've been running.

Fast day today so eats are looking like (will deffo use all 500, just haven't quite worked out what I'm having!):
FF yog (80)
SF jelly (10)
Cumin turkey burgers with salad (~180) - out of the Daily Mail 5:2 booklet - for once I'm glad my parents are Mail readers ;)
2 rich teas (72)
Total so far: 342

WFH for most of day, apart from a quick client meeting this morning so looking forward to being able to get my head down and tick some bits off the list. Need to come up with my objectives for the year this week and that's never an easy job...for me, at least!

Have a great day, beauties xxx

That's incredible Sarah, well done! I always expect a minimal loss after doing lots of exercising too - it normally takes a couple of weeks to settle so with another good week this week, you should have another amazing loss next week!!

Hope the meeting goes well and you get that list ticked ;) xx

Congrats on the loss gorgeous! That's fantastic! Woop for the 10s! :)

How is the bruges planning coming along? Bet you can't wait! Any runs planned this week? Xxx

Ah thanks sweetness! Bruges planning is pretty much sorted! Would like a couple of concrete plans for during the days, but restaurants are all booked so that's the main thing. Can't flippin' wait!

Yep, running tomorrow and Thursday (4k) then upping to 5k on Sunday. xxx

Eek! Another loss! You're all doing amazingly this morning!!!

Have you decided how to tell to tell Dave about Bruges yet? I bet you can't wait for a trip away.

Thanks Pip! My loss is teeny in comparison to some, but it's got me back the right side of the 11s so that's all that matters.

Yep - I'm going to wrap up a copy of In Bruges for him to open on the Wednesday night - but on the DVD cover, it's his face and mine (Dave's a Farrell too, so having Dave Farrell in place of Colin Farrell looks awesome!). I've got the Lonely Planet guide for him too, so we can do some reading and planning and he's got 24 hours to think about packing etc. before we leave at silly o'clock on the Friday morning. :D xxx

Your fast day sounds grand. Made me laugh about your parents being DM readers!!! xxx

Woop woop well done on the loss honey,
Oooh Bruges is lovely, we loved it when we went, it'll be hard to resist all the chocolate shops!!

Xx

Thanks love! I've heard so many great things about Bruges - I'm so excited! I don't intend to resist all the chocolate shops - it is a holiday after all. But I am planning on using the pool, am taking my trainers to go for a run and we are also going to be hiring bikes, so at least some of the calories will be getting worked off! xx

Thank you gorgeous one! Would love to get a super-duper loss next week ready for Bruges. Who knows what the scales will say - I just need to take it a day at a time.

Meeting was long and slightly frustrating (as clients so often are!) but it's over now and I'm back at home eating a disappointingly small bag of popcorn (I apprciate you don't get much for 60 cals but the bag was onlt 1/4 full!!) and my yogurt (not mixed together, I should add!!) xxx

Just had one of my besties on the phone in floods of tears about something her hubby has done. She's being sent home from work in London and is going to come round here when she gets back so I can look after her. Slightly awkward as I have heaps of work to do, but I can make her tea and snuggle her up with the cat and a good film until I've finished and we can have a proper chat.

Probably means it'll be a late dinner on a fast day but worth it to make sure she's ok xxx

Sounds like a good holiday planned chick, If you find a shop called 'Chocoholic' they do amaaaaazing hot chocolates with sticks of chocolate that they put into hot milk and it melts. They have all sorts of flavours.....

Oh no, I hope your bestie is ok and it's something that a night with her bestie cuddles can sort out
xxxxx

Hope you're ok gorg and you managed to get a fair amount done before your friend Arrived. Is she ok? Tea and a shoulder to cry on or an ear to listen are always the best remedies. I love being a girl for just that reason!
Xxx
