Sarah's Target & 10K Mission

Yeah I do, Lil! But that's dangerous, isn't it! So easy to get disappointed if it's not 'the time'!

Yes, Pip - did you keep the ring? I've still got the one from my ex. Have tried to sell it but it's an unusual cut (marquise) in a tiny size and it's side tension set so it's hard to adjust, so I couldn't shift it. SOOOO annoying as it's pointless having it sat in a drawer. xxx

Haha. Love that, Lil!

Dave told me after a few drinks in London before Christmas that he already knows exactly what he wants to get for me. And I'm sure it will be gorgeous as he's so thoughtful and good at things like that.

Crikey - this is weird - he has literally just text me the name of a song and said 'our wedding song?'. Love him! xxxxx

Ooooh great minds think alike Sarah!! :love047: Sounds like he'll be on it soon!

I think Pip and I had similar experiences before - mine was a sh1tbag too!!! (Moral of the story, never date a wannabe rockstar!). Yep we are definitely getting hounded about him popping the question! Friends, family...everyone wants to know! That just makes Dave dig his heels in though - he likes to do things in his own time! xxx

Ha I can totally relate to that!
Do you have any ideas about how you'd like him to do it?! :) xxx

Morning gorgeous ones!

I failed in my running mission this morning - it's literally galeforce winds here and has been torrential rain all night so lots of the little roads near us where I would run are semi flooded. Am going to go out tomorrow instead - I won't be beaten by the weather!

Dance class last night was AWESOME! So much fun! Although a slightly awkward moment when I realised I recognised one of the guys in there with his wife - turns out I interviewed him to work for me just before Christmas and turned him down! Small world!! Anyway, we learned the basic cha-cha steps and the first half of a waltz. Mum managed to keep up really well and we had such a giggle. Can't wait 'til next week!

As I didn't run today, I'm going to attempt a 500 cal day. Haven't really thought much about food, but it will probably be:
Yoghurt - 80
Raspberries - 20
Melon - 34
Popcorn - 60
Cauli egg fried rice - ~200
Rich tea x 2 - 72
Total so far - 466

Will need to be a quick/early tea as off to get my eyes tested/contact lenses checked this evening then need to come home for an early nigh as the howling winds kept us awake for what felt like most of the night! That's the only bad thing about a detatched house - the winds get all around you and are so noisy!!

Haha. I try not to think about it too much! I would like it to be somewhere which means a lot to us, but to be honest, I don't mind at all...the most important thing is him asking the question and me being able to say yes :) xxx

Hmm...fast day fail! Wasn't planned enough - silly girl! Ended up eating one of the little energy bar/flapjack things which my Mum made for Dave this morning which probably used most of my syns! They are mostly oats, dried fruit and nuts so not bad stuff, but not SW friendly! Currently having a HEX toastie - a Warburton's wholemeal thin with cheese and tomatoes. Feels so naughty, but isn't. Thank gosh!

Going for a red day instead (or maybe a green day?) - no carbs whichever plan I end up on! xxx

Oh I loved loved the big catch up here! Firstly well done on another loss, gorgeous! You're really doing so fantastically well! Yay for seeing the 10s! That just autocorrected to 10k which brings me to my next point! So so impressed with how on top of the running you are! You're going to fly the 10k with all of the work you're putting in! I'm glad you didn't go this morning! Could have been blown away and I would def have missed you!! I LOVE all of the wedding talk! Since my sister got married in December, even though it was only the official thing and not the big white wedding (may 2016 for that!), I've got wedding fever! It'll be a long time before I see a ring though! We've been together 5 years this year but we are still only 23 & 24! I am very excited to hopefully hear about Dave's proposal sometime this year! Eek! Xxx

Oh Sarah, your dance class sounds so fun! The weather is awful up North too... I think we are forcast snow this weekend  xxx

Dance class sounds FAB honey, I would love to do it but Ian wouldn't been seen anywhere near it so might see if my mum wants to come with me too!
The wind up here was awful as well last night and kept me awake a bit, we're meant to have snow this weekend agian too :(

Well I f'd up massively yesterday - another flapjack was eaten, plus a creme egg and two shortbread fingers. No idea what came over me. Dave did a 500 cal day so made a sub 200 cal dinner but I hardly ate any.

Before that would have meant me being bad til Monday, but not this time! Up at 5am for a run. Whoop whoop!

Plan for today is EE:
B - overnight oats (1/2 hexb)
L - french onion soup followed by melon
D - Dave's cooking an on plan spinach and chicken pasta (2 syns for ex LF creme fraiche and hexa Parmesan)
Snacks - Alpen light (1/2 hexb)

Happy Fridays gorgeous girlies! Bring on the weekend!!xxx

You didn't eff up. It just wasn't the day you had originally planned and so what? You're back on it today and that's what matters.

Well done on this morning's run!!! Give me your motivation please. I'd love to get into a routine of going early but I just can't do it! It's too cold and miserable!!

Any lovely weekend plans?!x

Ahh thanks Lil!

I find it impossible to run in the evenings so unless I get up super-early, I can't go. Admittedly when the alarm went off at 5am, every single fibre of my being wanted to throw it across the room, but it was actually a really nice run - the first 2km weren't too painful so I'm hoping my body is starting to get used to this running lark! It was flippin' cold this morning - I think it was trying to snow. But it was super peaceful and lovely to get some cool, fresh air.

It's going to be a fairly quiet weekend, I think (I hope!) - we are having a night in tonight and Dave is in charge of the kitchen. He's making creamy spinch and chicken pasta, but he assures me it's SW-friendly (love him). Then tomorrow we've got a couple of friends coming over for dinner - we were supposed to see them just before Christmas but their little girl was poorly, so we had to reschedule. We are probably going to have a fake Christmas dinner! So roast turkey, roast spuds (in Frylight of course!) and heaps of veggies. Will do the timmings too (pigs in blankets/bread sauce) but will try and limit my intake! Making a pavlova for pudding with a half-fat cream and yoghurt topping to try and bring the syns down. Will then have a low syn day on Sunday - probably a red day as I'll be running again. Going to do 5km - hope the weather is half decent!!

Also want to try and get a bit sorted for going away next weekend. Picked up a couple of nice jumpers in Primark last night - just need to put things in piles and get some Euros!

xxxx
