Sarah's Target & 10K Mission

We were so lucky with the weather - it was chilly but really sunny on Friday and Saturday, then a bit cloudy on Sunday but still dry. It rained yesterday but it didn't really matter as we only had a few bits in Brussels to see...and it was nice to find places to shelter from the rain to have a cheeky beer or hot chocolate! xxx

It was fairly quiet actually. Still a nice bit of hustle and bustle but no real queues or anything anywhere...it felt nice and peaceful! xxx

Welcome back honey, it certainly looks like you had an amazing time.

Boo to coming back to loads of emails and work - and double boo that your phone has stopped working!

Toffee and oats - yummy!

Oh it was so perfect! I would love to be back there today!!

A girl cannot survive on toffee Mullers alone though...ended up with a Tesco meal deal of prawn sarnie, black pepper kettle chips and an Oasis drink. And been sharing some popcorn with the girl who is sitting next to me today.

Need to get back on it tomorrow although my boss has booked me in meetings until 6.30pm!!! Then have dancing at 8.30 so need to find something very quick to have in between! xxx

Hey ladies,

Happy humps!!

Tried to go for a run last night but I think four days of walking miles and miles on cobbles plus a bike ride had made my calf muscles really tight so I struggled massively. Ended up doing 2.5k but had to walk a few times. Dave made me foam roll last night so hopefully tomorrow will be easier. Want to do 5km on Sunday morning.

Crazy day today - in the office at 7am and meetings booked til 6pm. Boo!! Have ballroom class with Mum tonight though so looking forward to that...if I can stay awake 'til 8.30pm!!

Dave cooked an on-plan spag bol last night and I have leftovers for lunch today. Snacked on too many biccies yesterday though and have had a couple of rich teas this morning to fight the tiredness! Need to go down to the cafe for a chai latte in a bit, I think!

Struggling to get my head in the game this week as work feels totally overwhelming and the house is a tip as we have only half unpacked. Have friends over for dinner on Friday night so only have tomorrow eve to tidy, get washing done and do a food shop. Hoping to have a fairly chilled weekend other than that - getting my eyes tested on Saturday morning and then having my hair coloured in the afternoon. Then we are having my 'rents over on Sunday for lunch and Dave's Birthday round 2 as he hasn't had his pressies from them or my Grannie yet.

Might try and get up to my Nan's on Saturday too as it's 10 years today since my Grandad passed away (all of my sad days are in January - it's so strange!!) so would like to take some flowers to the church.

Hope you guys are being less naughty than I am!! Need to get my head back in the game sharp-ish!!

xxxx

Bless Dave for making syn free bolognese for you and having enough for lunch too. What a sweetie! Although he ought to be after that weekend away ;)

Your weekend with family sounds lovely. Lots of nice things dotted around the sad days.

It's so hard being on track pre and post holiday. I'm massively struggling this week. My SW journey is up and down. I'm either amazingly good or absolutely dreadful. Never in between!!

Have a good day babes xx

Woah you're all so busy at the moment, you poor things! Thankfully work isn't too crazy for me so far this week! Sending you all calming vibes! I'll be eating my words tomorrow though! Don't worry about the few sneaky biscuits, it happens! What a good boy Dave is! I'd do anything for a man who could cook! When Simon is better I'm actually teaching him some simple dishes! Hope you're okay today sweetie and at least the work crazy will hopefully be distracting you from any sad thoughts. Lots of love honey xx

Thanks ladies. Have been eating like a piggy and really struggling to get back in the game. Missed my run yesterday because of the snow but hoping my one on Sunday will give me the kick-start that I need. xxx

It's really hard to stay on plan when you have so much on lovely! Keep going though because you're doing so well and you will be at target in no time :) xxx

How did your eye test go? And don't stress when you're busy, you know how to do it when you can xxxx

Hello darlings!

Sorry for being AWOL. Not a very on-plan weekend! We had friends over Friday night, which was great fun. Chilled Saturday and had my hair done - ended up moving my eye test to next weekend. Had a migraine yesterday morning, which was no fun, but felt better in the afternoon and Dave cooked an epic roast for my Mum, Dad and Grannie.

Feeling a bit overwhelmed by everything at the mo. Work is beyond crazy, I've got this run (and I haven't run since last Tuesday), I want (NEED!!) to lose this flippin' weight, we are still fighting the stupid errors in Dave's credit rating which surfaced when we got our new mortgage last year (Santander = The Devil), I'm trying to support my Mum get Grannie into a home (which Mum doesn't really want to do) and we're doing this dance class as well, which I love, but it's a late night and another evening when I don't get to chill.

Gosh I sound like such a moaning minnie! I think I'm just overtired after last weekend's festivities and quite a busy week since. I'll get back on it, I know I will.

Thank you gorgeous ones for sticking by me, even when I'm a pain in the bum!

Hello lovely!

You have tons going on at the moment, no wonder you're feeling so overwhelmed with it all. Try not to worry too much though, it will all get sorted.

Have you contacted the financial ombudsman service about Santander not sorting things out for you very quickly? If you discovered the problem last year it should really have been dealt with by now.

As for helping your mum, that's all you can do. I know Wednesday nights are quite late and not helping with everything else but I bet she really looks forward to a bit of time with her girlie.

I hope work lets up a bit for you mate. It's never nice feeling so stretched and down xx
