Sarah's Target & 10K Mission

Woop that is fab doing 5k - how did it feel? :) xxxx

Hey lovely! Well done on your 7k! I felt great yesterday - I think in highsight I could have done 6k but I had a 5k route planned so just stuck to that. My knee has been a little bit sore when climbing the stairs since, but don't think it's anything serious. I had a really good stretch and foam roll yesterday so legs don't really feel tight at all today. Not sure when I will be running this week - maybe Wednesday and Thursday as they are the only two days I won't be in the office early - do still think early morning running is better for me than after work.

Hoping to keep food under control today but beyond my Muller Light brekkie, I'm not sure what's on the menu! xxx

Aw so glad you had a lovely weekend sweetheart! And you fit in a 5k hungover! Amazing! You're all putting me to shame! I got next to no exercise all over the weekend except for one nothing major doggie walk! And I ate like I was going to be running marathons to counteract the damage! Oops! Hope you get some good eats in today babe xx

Ah thanks loves! I'm definitely no hero...I'm just a girl with a deadline! 7 weeks today I will have finished my 10k! eeek!!

Loads of love and yumminess this weekend - tea and cake with Grannie on Saturday, then a quick catch up with my bestie, then the best night in with Dave (getting really quite drunk on gin, Champagne and red), then a run yesterday, followed by a lovely family lunch with my parents and then a chilled out eve with some more G&T's and Top Gear. It was bliss!!

Very good news. I got the top rating ('exceptional') which my boss said she has only ever known one person to get in the 6 years she has worked here. I'm totally and utterly gobsmacked. That means my bonus is a lot more than I expected, which is obviously amazing, but more importantly, it means even my head of department has OK'd this. It's a massive, massive confidence boost! xx
