Fast is going stupidly well actually - I've only had a 60 cal bag of salted popcorn so far! (Plus lots of water and peppermint tea). So will be able to pick up something yummy in town for dinner - might check out M&S for one of the meals Stevie recommended the other day!

Fast day smashed!

M&S chicken risotto (362) + popcorn (60) and I've heatedly felt hungry.

House is spotless ready for guests too.

Can't wait to get work over with tomorrow and get the weekend started!xxx

Happy frickin' Friday!! I'm so excited it's finally here...and it's pay day! Whoop whoop!!

Food plan is shaping up nicely!

B - Muller Light (99) + Shapers strawberry nougat bar (85)
L - Glorious Skinny Tuscan Tomato soup (90) + 1/2 a Warburton's thin (50) + Salted popcorn (88) + SF Jelly Pot (5)
D - Pulled pork with sweet potato chips, coleslaw and a wholemeal roll (972)
G&Ts x 3 (210), Prosecco x 2 (180) + Mikado sticks (40)

We have friends over for dinner tonight but planning to swap the usual red wine for gin and slims to keep the cals under control.

Ahh and just heard that Stacey has been promoted at work today so sounds like there will be bubbles on the cards! Really need to start working out cals in dinner so I know how many I have to play with for booze! xxx
 
Even as I'm typing this post, I'm scared that I'm jinxing myself, but I really do feel more in control with this 5:2 calorie counting malarkey. I know with SW, I would have seen the food choices at the Lebanses and thought, well sod it, I might as well have an off-plan day, which would have turned into a full weekend of pigging out. But with this, I feel like I can stay on plan, knowing I've got 2 fast days under my belt and there's absolutely no reason not to get a good result on the scales on Monday, and every Monday for the foreseeable future. Scales are currently 11.2 and who knows what they could be after an on-plan weekend and a run on Sunday.

Have actually managed to swing myself a 3.45 finish today so might be able to get a quick run in after work too. I will feel like I've earned my pulled pork I've I've got a few km's under my belt! xx
 
I love the positivity honey :) I fully believe your mindset is right and you are going to race down to the 10st mark. Totally believe in you xxxx.
 
Thanks Jess. I think I needed a bit of a wake-up call about how much I want to get back down to a weight I'm happy with. I've come up with a bit of a plan which gets me to target in May, which I'm fine with as we have quite a lot on before then which I need to work around - really do think 5:2 will help me do that. Really keen to incorporate some clean eating too, and some more exercise, but want to take it one step at a time so I don't overwhelm myself and give up! When I get back to 10st, it will be a permanent move and I want to be much more toned and happy with my shape. I think the running is helping with the thunder thighs so just need to work in some more arms and tummy taming exercise! xxx
