Those bags are so cute and I love all the little gifts! How many did you have to do?

Wedding is up at Coulsdon Manor, we are staying just down the road in purley because they wanted like £170 for the Manor...£40 at the travelodge! Some of us are on budgets :D hoping for sunny warm weather! Xx

There are 11 of us - I got a bit carried away but probably have done them for about £4 each. There are some fab things on eBay - I had a great time putting them together :)

Travelodge sounds like a plan! This wedding is going to be the same but because I'm maid of honour, we're paying £230 to stay in the venue :( really hope it's nice!!

Oh it would be fabulous if the weather could be nice - I haven't even thought about what cost etc I'll need for the weekend. Work is so manic...I need to get organised!!xx

This is random, and a bit vain, but I feel a million dollars today (thank you Primark for my belted shirt!!) - never ever would have worn anything like this before. Excuse the state of my bedroom though!!

Hello lovelies!

Work has been totally manic since I got back and I feel like I've only just managed to shift my hangover so haven't had time for a full report.

The weekend was absolutely fantastic and Windsor...wow...what a fabulous place! I haven’t been since I was little, but I’m now totally in love with it. Fantastic shopping, gorgeous restaurants, bars, clubs etc and beautiful scenery.

The bride and I arrived mid-afternoon on Friday and checked into our lovely hotel – The Harte and Garter – can’t recommend it highly enough. The rooms are huge and beautifully decorated – the bathroom was almost as big as my lounge!! And it’s located literally opposite the castle so the outlook is stunning. We did a quick bit of shopping (got two lush dresses, one with 70% off so reduced to £13 from a department store called Daniel and one for £14.99 in H&M. Love a bargain!!) then met Sam’s future mother-in-law and sister-in-law in the bar for some prosecco.

We had dinner at a fab gastropub called Bel & the Dragon where all the waiters were gorgeous and charming, the food was delicious and the tables were painted with blackboard paint so we could draw on them with chalk! Hours of fun to be had! After dinner drinks were enjoyed in the bar, then Sam and I stayed up ‘til silly o’clock chatting and having bubblegum bubble blowing competitions! It was so nice to spend some proper girly time together – we don’t do it often enough!

Saturday morning was a gorgeous breakfast and then a couple of hours chilling out in the spa – I felt almost horizontal I was so chilled!

More girlies arrived at lunchtime and we congregated in the restaurant, overlooking the castle walls, for what ended up being 5 bottles of proescco, fish finger sandwiches and scones with clotted cream and jam. Total bliss! Everyone opened their party bags and got stuck into the competition of taking the most amusing photo of ‘Colin’ – the little yellow stretchy man I’d put in everyone’s bag. Hilarious!

We did a bit more (slightly tipsy!) shopping in the afternoon, then got together for another couple of bottles of pre-dinner prosecco to play a game of ‘Pin Sam’s face onto Edward Cullen’s naughty bits!” and “Mr and Mrs” with James’ answers filmed on the iPad. Lots of giggling and blushing from Sam!

Dinner at a fab Greek restaurant – 4 course mezze with more prosecco and some lovely Greek wine. The waiters were great fun and had us up dancing at the end. Played drunken Chinese whispers which got a bit out of hand with the mother-in-law there! Then went to a bar for cocktails and shots and dancing, then onto a club. Really nice vibe in Windsor and we danced until they kicked us out around 3am! Then back to the hotel for more drinking and we ended up staying up ‘til 8am!

The less said about the state of us at breakfast on Sunday morning the better!

Wow, I have waffled on a bit there, but yes, that’s a synopsis. It was the most amazing weekend and I don’t think Sam will ever forget it!

Pics to follow shortly! :)

xx

So photos are up and an amazing weekend was had, but I just don't seem to get my head back in the game! I think I was still hungover yesterday so ended up having a Caramel Bunny and half a Mars bar, then KFC for dinner. So naughty!

This morning I've already had some wafer biscuits which were brought in for someone's birthday and I brought a Crunchie and a can of Rio (old school!!!) from the sandwich lady who comes 'round although I haven't touched them yet.

I've got my bridesmaid's dress fitting tomorrow and the wedding is only a few weeks away so I need to get back on it if I have any hope of being in the 9s by the big day, but work is totally **** and I'm really feeling like I want chocolatey comfort! It's wrong, I know, but it's where I am right now.

I think I tend to feel like this when I've had a weekend where I've felt great about myself. This weekend, for maybe the first time ever, I didn't feel like the 'big' one in a group of girls. And it was amazing! I think that feeling makes me lazy and think that I've got as far as I need to go - but I haven't, there's more to do and I need to focus!

Come on, brain - get back in the zone!!!
